“I’ve been to the clinic a couple of times now and have seen Dr. Starr. I really appreciate his approach—he’s a straight shooter, explains things clearly, and is obviously very skilled at what he does. He’s probably the only doctor I can honestly say I trust to stick a needle in my neck!
The whole experience at the clinic has been positive. The front desk staff are always friendly and helpful, and my physiotherapist, Austin, has been amazing.
I also really appreciate how accommodating everyone has been with scheduling, especially since I travel from the Yukon for my appointments. That makes a huge difference for me.
I’m looking forward to continuing my appointments here and hopefully getting my pain more under control. I’m very grateful to have found a team I feel comfortable with and can trust.“

“Couldn’t be happier with Dr. Michael. I found him buried in a “Rate Your Doctor” thread years ago and have kept coming back.

Appointments feel like catching up with a friend, except your friend also fixes your back and gives you the bill. Yet he does it with plenty of knowledge, care, and enough banter to send you home smiling—and booking for more.

He’s also been a key part and advocate in my recovery, which makes the drive worth it—and I guess that makes this review long overdue.

Highly recommend him for the chiropractic care and the entertainment. And if it’s all an act, well he’s a pretty decent actor.

“I have been going to Local Health now for over a year and other than the parking and constant construction nearby it’s a wonderful clinic. The staff are friendly and my RMT Shelby is exceptional! Always warm and accommodating with the best therapeutic massage to relieve aches and pain. She listens to my needs every session and I always leave stress free and relaxed. Her room is always meticulously clean and she even provides her Bluetooth speaker for me to use so I can play my own music!“

“I have only taken one session so far.I will need a few more so I don't know how effective acupuncture will be for my pain but I can say that the lady doctor there is so kind and has such great energy.I immediately fear safe as soon as I met her and she kept checking in on me through out the session like a mother.“

“I visited Empower Health for several treatments over the summer, and one of the most appreciated and impactful experiences I had was with Maryam. I did multiple craniosacral treatments with her, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much emotional release and internal insight I gained through our sessions.
