Went to this Burnaby location today. I am scared of needles - have been since a young age - so it’s always a difficult process for me emotionally speaking.
Jie was amazing, she walked in humming cute songs, introduced herself and confirmed my information, her energy was great and seeing her so calm, happy and humming immediately put me at ease. She talked to me during the entire process and was a professional at finding my very difficult-shy veins, very light touch didn’t feel the needle going in or out.

I have been going here for last 4 years. The customer service is awful, I do not have a choice to avoid this location but I pray each and every time that the experience turn out to be good, magically. Last month we went with our 2 year old, I requested that we test in a way that one of us stays with the baby, they did not even let me finish my words, they just sush me off. Most of the staff s are rude and they always show they are irritated. when they talk to the patient they are rude but when they are talking to each other, they are all smiley, laughing immediately. All customers just wait for the experience to finish early. Hope they will be bit more empathetic.
With their working pace and stress, I am very impressed by their professional supportive and patient attitude. If the waiting time is longer than expectation it’s only because of the system.
