You won't believe it, but we did not find the way in to the store, there were like 4 doors, we pushed n pulled every single one with no success at like 4 pm on a weekday, the place itself it's very beautiful, and the surroundings have a great architecture, I would have like a clear enter here or whatever clue that let us in, I mean, we tried every door, and maps said it was still open what I thought is that is was permanently closed, hopefully it was just temporarily closed or we were too dumb to miss the entrance...
I just had an excellent instrument repair experience. My bass has had an issue for a while and Mike identified the problem and fixed it efficiently. He has an impressive knowledge of instruments and was kind enough to answer all my questions. The price was also really affordable :) Thank you Mike and Chicago City Music Store!!!
The Chicago store has been around since I was a child. Now I bring my daughter here. We rented an instrument from them they have always been super kind efficient they always tune it and help us out. The people who work there really care about their job in the beginning my daughter was not into the instrument I got her when we went back to the store the gentleman talked to her she took the instrument back home and now she is unbelievably amazing she plays mariachi. I am such a proud mom. I am so glad that we still have the Chicago store. I hope it never goes away. The instruments are all of great quality. The atmosphere there makes you feel very welcome.
