Music & Dance Academy Musical Instruments And Teachers

“My dad took up piano lessons here as a hobby in his elder years, and the staff and his instructor were very welcoming to this non-traditional student. Being able to connect with music, interact with his teacher, and work on motor skills and dexterity were additional benefits that aided my dad with his Parkinson’s symptoms. Much gratitude to his instructor, Mr Santacruz, for his patience and encouragement.“

Southwest Strings Musical Instruments And Teachers

“I’ve been ordering strings from Southwest Strings for over 20 years. This time it was for my nephew. They have the best prices available. One suggested improvement would be their website. It is not optimized for mobile devices. The cart is cumbersome to update, and each page needs refreshing to choose a new string type. Other than that, I have no complaints, and will be a repeat customer for family members.“

The Sound Post Musical Instruments And Teachers

“As a lifelong guitarist (over 50 years!) I can be pretty particular about my babies. New to the area I gave Cameron at the Sound Post a call. He did an absolutely wonderful job. The adjustments he made to the instruments were dead on with all three coming back to life! Neck and bridges have never been better! Thanks Cameron and Lily!“

“I sought out Lynnette at Creative Keys to teach my kids piano. What I did not expect was how quickly they developed into young musicians. Lynnette’s approach combines piano technique with a love of music, and is exactly what she promotes at her studio: innovative. Her students regularly perform solo pieces, in ensembles, and most impressively, they perform improvisation! Her showcases (recitals) impress us to no end. All of the students feel like their own little musical family, and are excited to show the audience what they’ve learned. That's so different than my experience when I was a kid taking lessons. Her students are so supportive of each other. At home, my kids are at the piano constantly exploring new music, and practicing their homework. If I had know about her music together classes, my kids would have started as babies in her studio. I look forward to someday that I can take classes from her as an adult!“

“Astrid is an immensly talented teacher. To hear her music and watch her perform is a blessing. To have her as your teacher, is a gift. She has passion for her teaching and is one of the most talented pianists I have ever heard. Thank you, Astrid for making this world sound a little better.“
