Our home had a half wall between the kitchen and living room and a full wall between the kitchen and dining room. This made it tough to entertain or even have a dinner. We wanted to open up the space.

Cody and team removed the walls, moved and enlarged the island, painted the cabinets (moved one and added two), installed granite countertops, new sink and faucet, new flooring, moved the refrigerator, installed and added some new lighting, and installed new baseboards throughout the house.

This is a winter home for us and we were not around for the process. However, Fay maintained constant communication with us and they provided regular pictures of the progress.

Cody met with us a few times before the project to understand exactly what we were looking for and took detailed notes of what needed to be done.

The end result was what we were looking for and looks fantastic! We are really looking forward to getting back and start living in the space and having friends over for dinners.

Wish we would have known about A1 Home Repair earlier as we have done a couple other projects. They were substantially less in price than the quote the contractor we had used prior gave us. And, the work was on par or better.

The attached pictures are of the finished project as well as how things looked before the project.

While I hope our remodel days are behind us, if we need any work done, A1 will be our first call!“

I was a bit skeptical at first because of the reviews. But we had no issues restoring the wall in our garage, they diagnosed the water leak and gave us a temporary fix until our plumber came over. I had called another company prior and they never got back to me. But Tucker responded almost right away for his initial assessment.

The rest of the process went smoothly and DeAndre's team was great. Blue fox restoration handled the last part of putting the wall back together if I recall correctly.

Overall no issues and I'm glad we picked this company. Keep in mind that we didn't use insurance and went out of pocket so I cannot comment on that part.“

“Folks- about 8 years ago, we hired AZ Hardwood to refinish our wood floors that were installed by another company about 15 years prior. The old finish color was dated and wear and tear was obvious. It was obvious we needed to upgrade the finish to something more modern. The original wood floor that we had installed was able to be sanded down and re-coated with a new finish. The technician was named Justin and he was absolutely awesome. He did a superb job! We absolutely loved the new darker oak look. Fast forward to now, we decided to get the floors refinished again, but this time we had some minor chips in the finish corrected and a new finished coat. The team lead was Tony and he and his counterpart were awesome! Very friendly and efficient and hard workers. They said they would be there between 7-9am - they were there at 6:50am. We are truly happy and happy to recommend AZ Hardwood (and Tony)! Thank you!“
