On the scheduled day, the service tech, Art, arrived on time and began to clean and service both units. He was extremely pleasant and professional. I have a large unit on the roof and a mini-split in a converted garage. He was very, very thorough in cleaning the units, especially the mini-split. Art is a true asset to the company. “The new AC unit (5 Ton Rheem) was delivered and installed today by Polar Cooling.I made the arrangements through Manny. He is their sales Rep for this area. Setting up the sale and getting things settled went well.The installation was set up for August 9. The tech guys (Noel and Mario) arrived at 8 AM. Both were very professional and did a great job with install of AC and New Air Handler. I requested they run Copper line from Power Box to unit. We agreed they would do that using Conduit to house the copper line. There were other specific requests that were all met. This was arranged with Manny when setting up proposal.The unit installed has run great. The only issue is lights dim when compressor kicks on. I asked Manny about it he said they will attach device to compressor that will eliminate problem. Guys will be here Monday in AM to fix the issue. While installing Polar made other adjustments that benefited us as well.One item I did not get settled up front. (My fault) There were some areas where they removed boxes and installed new. They left a hole and an area that will need to be painted on the outside. I have a similar issue with trim on the inside. They would not make this right. Manny and I debated this issue for several minutes. I see his side that it would cost more but this should be included in the bid. We agreed to disagree about the issue.Should everything be O.K. the only thing I will likely remember is the cleanup work I had to do after they finished the installation, I suspect others will remember the same. Only human nature. Fairness to Polar, it is unlikely it would have made a difference in my choice of vendor.All that being said. Would I use them again? Yes, I would, should they allow a grumpy guy to remain a customer.Prior to the work Emma and I Spoke with Manny in the kitchen. We went over the proposal he emailed to us dated July 27, 2023. Manny assured us that the $8400.00 included everything. I specifically ask about Sales tax, Copper wiring and most everything I could think of. That was the amount of the charge.Written today August 12th.They did a very good job with installation. And their men were professional. I would use Polar cooling again, should the need arise.“

“Best A/C company in Yuma. First got into contact with Danny about 4 or 5 years ago when I replaced my home A/C unit. He was the 3rd or 4th company I got a quote from. Not only did he beat the other guys prices I felt like he was the most honest and was most understanding/ knowledgeable about what I wanted out of my unit.We ended up going with a bigger unit than I previously had and he didn't cut any corners in making sure it would outperform our old unit. He installed an extra return, put larger duct work in and placed another vent in our bedroom, which was the hottest in the house. The amount of work he did in a timely fashion with the cost I don't think can be beat.Our old unit could never keep up, our house was always hot and our month to month bill was always high. Since then it's as cold as we want and it's actually lowered our power bill.It's a great company that I recommend to anyone. Danny is super honest, reliable, and easy to talk to and understand.
