“Pretty happy so far. Only place I could find with zoysia sod locally. First time laying sod alone. Did my homework, amended & leveled soil.

Only thing I didn’t realize ahead of time is there’s a positive & negative angle on the short side ends. If you ever so slightly overlap, then run your hand between the edges to tuck the ends, you end up with a better finish. See pictures, bigger gap vs tighter gap ends.

Zoysia itself so far is amazing. Slightly different care & maintenance from what I’ve read & seen on YT. It’s grass carpet. Pretty happy. Trying not to walk on it, but so far definitely prefer it to other options, helps for my yard that it’s slightly shade tolerant.“
