“I recently called Phillips Heating and Cooling to fix my air conditioning that was not engaging heat properly. I suspected it was the thermostat as the unit is old. The two technicians arrived the next day. They were friendly and professional and examined the thermostat and furnace unit thoroughly. They explained what they were doing and why and what the analytical data meant in terms of whether things needed to be replaced or not. They were forthright like an honest mechanic. They found me an affordable Honeywell thermostat, replaced a motor and capacitor, cleaned a contact rod, all within 3 hours. The unit works perfectly now. This is about as honest and efficicient as repair professionals can be expected to be. Phillips will always be my first choice for HVAC repairs thanks to the high standard of excellence, honesty and frankly amazingly affordable price they charged. These two techs were simple outstanding!“
