Melanie is amazing! I hadn’t been to the salon since the pandemic and had no idea where to even go (I’m new to the Anthem area). I found Melanie while searching and she was willing to squeeze me into her schedule. She did an incredible job giving my hair new life. I have natural curls and loved that she was excited to work with them and make them beautiful again. She listened to concerns I had about my scalp and hair health and gave me some great recommendations. I don’t usually like blowouts but the one she gave me is beautiful and looks great even the next day! She truly cares and is a pleasure to be around - our appointment feels like I flew by. I will definitely be going back.
My wife has really fine hair. She said she had been wanting to get her hair cut and colored, but she kept suffering through bad hair cut after bad hair cut. To say she was discouraged is an understatement. So I searched around and sought a great hair stylist, at any cost. I found Melanie with DuRay Design Hair, and my wife got an appointment within the week. I wasn’t expecting that she would do such a great job. I wasn’t expecting that the highlights would be perfect. I wasn’t expecting for my wife to take my breath away when I saw her. But she did. Melanie did a wonderful job. She obviously is very talented and takes great pride in her work. Melanie has seen me through the long and short! She is especially good with low maintenance color ideas that look great. My hair has curl but I also wear it straight and she magically gives me cuts that shine in both styles.
