“Our dog is extremely anxious of the vet. He can be difficult but doesn’t bite. The vet and techs go slow and don’t force anything but still gets what needs to be done. I’m glad we found them when we first got our dog and will keep bringing him back.“

“Rowdy was out of control when walking and passing another dog and he was getting aggressive. I tried private training sessions and group sessions (for 4 months) and nothing worked. After one session of engagement classes he is well on his way to be a well trained dog that I can walk without chaos and aggression. I will be returning for another engagement class next month.

Wes spent a lot of individual time with Rowdy and they were so supportive and encouraging. They gave me the confidence I needed to handle Rowdy. And most important, I’m not hearing my friends and family telling me to take Rowdy back to the Humane Society.“

“Although its been several years, I felt inclined to write this review. Hopi was amazing with my newly adopted dog, Daisy. Daisy had heartworm when we adopted her. The vet hadn't dealt with a heartworm case in quite a while so she collaborated with an external vet specialist and drew up a treatment plan. Daisy is a small dog and treatment can actually kill dogs. It was a lengthy, sensitive time but Hopi was so great and careful. Daisy would stay there for full days receiving her injections. I think all the techs fell in love with her during this long 12 week process. Its now been 5+ years and we still take Daisy to Hopi for her check ups and she's as healthy as ever. Thank you :)“

“I highly recommend Elisa with Fit Dog Training. She is very knowledgeable and comes to you to assist you in training your dog. I like this because she is able to assess your dog and meet your needs in the dogs own environment. Lucy (my dog)loved the training! Now it’s up to me to follow through with repetition..Elisa is straight forward and gives you hands on assist, video assist and her availability to answer questions. Definitely give her a call if you are considering dog training! Also reasonably priced if you look at various programs. Totally worth your investment! Lucy is the star of neighborhood dog walking crew because she is so well behaved after using the techniques we learned through this training program! ?“

“Our 2 pitties did a 4 week board & train with Jose and they came back with new skills, and they’re way more eager to please. We now attend his Saturday classes almost every weekend for socialization and the dogs are always so excited to see him; he treats them like they’re his own. Jose has created an awesome dog community in Scottsdale and he is a great trainer & friend to both the dogs and their owners. We would recommend him to anyone that asked.“

“My wife and I had been looking for dog training for our little dog Charlie. Other at home trainers were going to use an e-collar but we didn’t feel good about it. We found Balanced Pooches and thought we would give it a try. John trains you, the owner, how to effectively use positive reinforcement, and leadership training to get your dog to listen and be your friend. It’s a very personable experience. He gives you the tools you need to continue training your dog after the sessions are finished. He’s also much cheaper than a lot of alternatives but still provides a quality service. We have seen many positive improvements in Charlie. I wish we had started with John earlier!“

“This is the best vet I've ever had. Dr Wells has been a vet in Tempe since the 80s. He's a great Vet and a good man. I will always bring my pets here. Update: 5 years later I still fell the same. Prices are high everywhere, his cost for an office visit is more reasonable.“

“Wow we had such a good time. The drink was so good I ordered a chai and it was delicious!! The barista was very nice as well. Also they have cute trinkets and shirts in the cafe and the cats were super cute and very sweet, you can tell they are very well taken care of. Staff was so nice to us very pleased and a really cute date idea, will definitely come back!!“

“We're so happy we found D Pet Hotels (North Scottsdale)! We visited about a week before boarding our pets, and the GM was so kind - he took his time with us, explaining their process, answering all of our questions, and giving us a tour. We boarded our 2 little dogs with them for 4 days, and they eased our minds from the 1st day, sending cute pictures of our fur babies with text updates. We look forward to boarding our dogs there again!“

“We are snow birds from Chicago coming to AZ for 12 years. Horizon is by far the best . We recently had to put our 14 year old Malti Poo down my best buddy. The kindness, compassion and overall care during this time was exceptional. Dr Penn and the entire group are definitely top notch. “Tempe Lake provided a headache-free experience through and through. From making the appointment, checking in, initial examination and follow up Tempe lake's staff were professional, clear and kind. Even our cat (Naia), who is usually extra stressed at and after vet visits, was quick to warm up to them and return to her usual antics when we got home after the exam and treatment!

Comparing with other clinics, even their treatment plans and pricing were meaningfully less difficult and expensive. As our kitty is getting older, we expect her needs will be growing in time, but we are less concerned with being able to afford to get her the care she needs thanks to Tempe Lake.“
