Good Daily communication of progress. We took our big, stubborn (livestock guardian breed) dog to CharlieBar to get him to behave and integrate with our little dogs. I have done 1-hour-a-week training classes before but needed something better. After completing the 2-week program, he has not been mouthy and respects our space and doesn't pull on a leash. During the handoff session, we got clear instructions on what to expect and how to continue the training at home confidently. Rick and the team love what they do, and it shows. “I called to scheduled an appointment to establish a point of care for my recently adopted dog from the shelter. At the time of our appointment, the facility was very clean and the staff was nice. When I got there, I checked in and let the front desk know that my dog isn't comfortable around other dogs. The staff took note of that and once his room was ready, they made sure to keep the hallways and lobby clear of any dogs so he can calmly walk through this new environment. Throughout the appointment Dr. Langeneckert was very thorough in her examination and patient with my dog as he gets overstimulated easily. I could tell that they wanted to be respectful of him and make sure he wasn't scared. Once our appointment was done, we received clear directions for the next steps in his care plan. Heather sent us pictures every other day so we knew that our kitties were doing great. The rooms are nice and tidy, and a nice thing is that they have windows so cats can look around and always have something interesting to observe.”
