I am so glad I contacted Foothills Canine Academy! I adopted a three year old rescue and she came with an odd assortment of fears. I worked with her for a few months and determined I needed help. Brenda was no longer doing in home training but recommended another trainer from her facility, Aly. I’m so glad she did!!! It’s not always easy to invite a stranger into your home but I felt immediately comfortable with Aly and even better so did my dog! Aly is a great listener with a kind and calm demeanor. She has observed our interaction and consistently come up with gentle ways to correct the behaviors we are working on. I look forward to participating in group classes...read full review

Brenda is awesome! She uses pawsitive reinforcement! The engagement class is a MUST! I wish I would have taken that class FIRST when Molli was a puppy! The class fills out quickly though, so you have to be aware of when she posts her classes!

I highly recommend Foothills Canine Academy with Brenda! I started there in the puppy beginners class with my 6 month old Malinois Jett and now we are finishing up the leash manners class. I love the group setting and the indoor facility is SO nice! Brenda is very knowledgeable on dog training and explains everything that makes sense when working with your dog. I’m excited to continue classes with Jett as there is many levels and a variety of classes to choose from.
