Noto Roofing
“Absolutely stellar experience!
I remember the day I called. I had been working in my yard cutting up a tree that had fallen due to some severe storms that had come through a couple days before. I looked up from my chainsaw cutting and noticed something that just didn't look right on the roof of my house. It appeared as if the ridge vent had come loose and flew up and folded over. I first thought I was seeing things, but knew that I needed to get this checked out.
I had heard Noto Roofing promoted on my favorite talk station in Birmingham by Andrew McClain. Hearing his personal experience with his own roof repairs and knowing Andrew personally I knew I was making the right call.
From the first call to the office and speaking with I think it was Sam, I had a feeling of relief that things would get taken care of. My next phone call was with my sales rep Andrew Brasfield. From our first meeting in our home he was beyond professional and assured us that Noto would take care of everything and they had an excellent working relationship with my insurance company. However I was not prepared for what Andrew would find upon his inspection of my roof. Large amounts of hail damage that we didn't know we had. After his inspection Andrew sat down with us and went over his findings showing us all the damage he noted and confirmed that yes what I saw was the ridge vent that had come loose. He inquired as to the age of the roof and we let him know that it was only 10 years old as it was the original roof that was installed on our home when it was delivered and installed. He seemed very shocked by the amount of wear not just from the hail damage but other things that he noted. He assured us once again that He and Noto would take care of everything and that we could relax. He went over everything that we would have to pay out of pocket for, and how the entire process would work. We signed the paperwork that day and began the process of replacement.
Andrew went out of his way to keep us informed via text message or phone calls at least once a week to keep us informed as to where we were in the process. He even did his very best to take into account my work and sleeping schedule when he needed to speak with us.
After about a month of waiting the day finally came that our roof would be replaced. Through the replacement work we learned that there was some... lets say less than high quality work done, and less than high quality materials used when our roof was first built. This led to about five sheets of decking having to be replaced. Andrew assured us that the materials they were going back with were far superior to what was originally used and would last far longer, and handle weather better than what we had.
If I had to do it again I would not hesitate to call Noto and hope that we could work with Andrew again. I have already recommended you and Andrew to anyone that has asked about roof inspection and replacement. I haven't personally gotten on my roof, but from what I can see from the ground the new roof, ridge venting, and other venting look amazing.
Thank you all for making this experience as smooth as possible. If you are in need of a roof inspection or even a replacement you need to call them, you will not regret it.”
