“I RARELY leave reviews anywhere. About 2 months ago I did a walk-in massage at this clinic after my chiropractor told me I needed one. First of all, the people were wonderful. The lady actually listened to what I was saying regarding my issues and actually fixed my issue. It is honestly the first time I have left and felt like myself. I could actually move around normally, with full range of motion (upper back, shoulder, neck issues). My back felt like all the pain I had experienced for years was suddenly relieved (yes, soreness for a few days was a thing but that is common with very deep tissue/ facial release). The relief lasted for quite a while too.

The reason I’m just now writing this review is because here I am two months later and have been to a couple of massage clinics closer to where I live (she is 1.5 hrs away) And I realize how much better this clinic was in comparison to some of the others. I am getting ready to schedule a return appt. I highly recommend this clinic, with confidence.“

She asks you how hard to press on your muscles, asks if you’re having problems in any specific area at every visit, asks what type of music or ambient noise (or none) to help you relax, her massage room is clean, cozy, and inviting. She doesn’t talk to you the entire time if you just want a mental break as well as physical rejuvenation. She is knowledgeable about muscles, ligaments, bones, and pressure points. She has different methods available to release tension on tight or stiff muscles, and can help in pain management. Do not let your mind creep you out about Ashiatsu Barefoot Massage!! It is wonderful!! And you can’t even tell if it is her hands or her feet. But by using her feet she can manipulate muscles in a larger area as well as not having her hands get tired if you are getting a deep tissue 60-90 minute massage. It truly is amazing! Extra points for being a North Alabama native girl! I found her by getting a gift certificate for Christmas a few years ago. I’ll be a client from now on!“
