I had an initial visit a few months ago and the doctor that I saw said he didn't think he could help me. He seemed like he was in a hurry and really didn't hear what I was saying. Fast forward 4 months, I gave up on western doctors and decided to get my blood work don't by a holistic doctor who revealed to me that I have a fatty liver and that the GI doctor I saw should have known to check my liver based on all of my symptoms. Just leaving this review because I felt really dismissed and gaslit when I visited this office.

I've had a fantastic experience with Dr. Voelkel and nurse practitioner Alyssa Fikes. Dr. Voelkel is straightforward and compassionate and I trust his judgment. Alyssa is absolutely wonderful! She is extremely compassionate and put me at ease right away, and took the time to really listen to my concerns. I can't say enough great things about her. I've been seen by Dr. Voelkel and Alyssa multiple times and have had an extremely positive experience.
