I took my granddaughter in Saturday where she selected a canvas she liked. The staff sketched the design, helped her to select her paint, and gave suggestions on how to proceed. When she finished the canvas she then selected a ceramic piece. Again she selected the paint and thoroughly enjoyed creating her masterpiece. I am looking forward to picking up the fired piece for her. She enjoyed her birthday experience and has told me and her parents she wants to go back. Thank you for providing an atmosphere to foster the art in young and old alike.
Visited the studio today to explore options for my granddaughter's birthday. They open at 11, but were closed for lunch when I arrived at 11:45. When I returned, the artist was helpful and friendly when explaining the options. Looking forward to returning next month with my granddaughter.

Strongates Builders replaced my pool fence. They had to take down the old and install the new. They were conscientious, so pleasant and respectful and finished it promptly. We have been through one round of braces and about to start another kid. They have been accommodating to all the needs of my first child needed. They are prompt with timing and always give explanations and best care plan, showing pictures and explaining why things need to be done which alleviates stress.

Bailey did a great job cutting 9 inches off my hair; she was so sweet and I loved that she was nervous for me! She made cutting off the damaged sections less traumatic. Checked in online and was able to see our place in line as well as the estimated wait time before I even got there which made planning my time even more easy. The wait once I got there was not long at all. My son is autistic and they have always been patient with him here which is why this is our go to place every 6 weeks like clock work. I've never had any issues with any of the stylists and how they cut his hair which is a blessing of its own since he has very thick hair that grows in several directions. He always leaves happy with the hair that he wants which means more to me than anything.
Update May 15, 2026 - stopped in for a cut today, same great place. I had a different barber, but he did a great job, exactly as I requested.
Recently I traveled to Athens for a few days and needed a haircut. What a gem! The best hair cut I’ve had in years, and the staff is so pleasant. The next time I go to Athens I’m going back to Shireman’s !

Very nice clean shop wish I could have communicated a little bit better with my barber it was a little of it on the expensive side but I believe I got a haircut that I didn't ask for when I was just trying to ask a question if they did a certain thing but I would probably go back maybe next time freshen up on my Spanish
I was looking a barbershop on weekend and i found this place in google. My son need a hair cut and i called the barbershop then gentleman told me to come before 4pm to get haircut. We went there and we didnt wait to get haircut at all. Mr. Kenny and other guys is nice! We will back for the future haircut again and also kenny fix my eyebrow.
Been coming here since Covid. Old style get in line and wait. They are efficient and fast so not too long to wait. Probably the best hair cut I’ve ever had, definitely the best barber in Athens.

It doesn't matter who does my hair when I walk in, they always manage to make an ugly dude like myself look pretty fly. They do incredible fades. I saw someone left a fuming review about military cuts and being a former Marine, all of my cuts here would've been within regulations. That review also claimed to have racial bias against white people. They always get this gringo looking fresh. Don't listen to the Karen's. Ramirez barbershop will have you walking out feeling sharp.
I am a beginner, called about lotions before coming in and when I did the owner made me feel like I was a regular. She was so knowledgeable, sweet and her prices can’t be beat! She even gave me a few packets to try, I will definitely be returning and only giving her my business!

They take their time and are very precise and will fix any imperfections you’re not satisfied with without hesitation. Kyle and Fawn are who I go to majority of the time. Was my first time getting lash extensions and it was a 10/10 experience! The studio is so cute, clean, and relaxing. Meryl explained everything in detail and made sure I was getting the best set for me and my needs! She was very gentle and I was so relaxed I ended up falling asleep. :) the lash extensions look AMAZING. I am so happy with them, they are exactly what I wanted!

I went in to have my dipped nails removed. I’m sorry I didn’t get the nail technician’s name but she was gentile and meticulous with removing the dipped nails. She shaped my real nails very nicely. No bumps or ridges and I couldn’t even tell I had nails on previously. My nails don’t feel brittle like they usually do after getting the nails taken off. Excellent job, thank you. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wonderful experience! I didn't know if anyone would have time for an appointment or not at the time, for random Saturday- Walk -in (me) but was hoping so because I just took 8 inches off the length at home, and then immediately butchered the heck out of my bangs, prior to coming in.. and have to be at work soon. ? My hair was saved, initially, didn't really know what I wanted to do with it and was ready to chop/shave it down short. But instead left the styling creativity to my Stylist here. She was so sweet, courteous, thoughtful and talented. Blended everything together perfectly and didn't let me make an irrational decision out of frustration. I highly recommend paying them a visit for all your hair needs, or just beauty maintenance needs in general. Very happy with my hair cut, and it was fun, & comfortable time well spent as well. Good peoples.

Made the repair to a plumbing leak the day after I talked to David. Leak was difficult to get access but much less than what I expected. David and Ricky completed the work quickly and even replaced a defective pressure regulator while here. Then the overall cost was very reasonable. I am extremely pleased with David and the repairs. I will definitely recommend and will use David again.
I had a toilet back up shortly after purchasing a home in the Madison area. Sludge Busters came out within 24 hrs of my call, checked my plumbing, and determined the “root” cause of the issue: the septic line and tank had roots clogging the drain path. They promptly replaced the tank and my main line and had us back in working order quickly. I have no reference point for pricing, so I cannot speak to the value, but it seemed reasonable for the work done. I would recommend them for any septic issues.Services: Sewer cleaning

The moment we walked into Surface World, we were given helpful and courteous customer service. With assistance and advice from their staff, our decisions were made before leaving the store. We particularly liked that the teams sent to measure and install are with Surface World. Everyone was prompt and courteous, and installation was completed without a hitch. This was truly a stress free process from start to finish. For new builds or renovations, I'd definitely encourage making Surface World your first stop!

Our family woke up the morning of 12/30/2025 to all toilets, bathtubs and showers backed up from our septic system. Gave Don and his company a call from a google search at 06:45 and Josh showed up at my residence about 7:15ish...Totally expecting just to drain a septic tank, he ran into a slew of issues which he step up to the plate to fix and make sure it was done right. Having to replace a burned out pump, rewiring a botched previous job which was unsafe for my family, and I'm sure there are a couple of other things I'm failing to mention. If I could give this company 10 stars I would. They really took care of us, kind and descent, and extremely professional. You want a job done right, call this company. For Josh: you are one of the most professional and best guys I have ever had do any work for me in my lifetime and that is saying something. Wish you all the best to your company in future business endeavors.
This is the second home John has built for us, and we couldn't be happier! John, Kayla, and Noel are all top-notch people and we consider them to be more than our builders now - they are friends. They show care, thoughtfulness, and integrity in everything they do. When we met a bump in the road, which always happens with every build, they handled it with professionalism and took care of the issue. These guys were fantastic. I’d been dealing with subcontractors who didn’t show up, who did poor work and who overcharged. I was at my wits end when Athens Handyman was recommended to me. I called them and was very impressed with their responsiveness and professionalism…but the proof was in the work. I was withholding my opinion until I saw the quality of the work. I could not have been more pleased. They were ON TIME. They performed the work quickly and professionally. Finally, they cleaned up after themselves. The job was done with a minimum of aggravation. I highly recommend Danny Garner Construction who has done wonderful work for me. They listen to what you want and guide you every step of the way. They remodeled my daughter’s upstairs bathroom giving her a beautiful tiled shower. They have also worked wonders on my back porch! Removing the existing deck and screened in area and extending the roof all the way across the back of my house to have a large covered area as well as extending the concrete across and out so I have a place in the sun and room for a fire pit. I look forward to what they can do for my next project.
We hired Holts to do our termite bond on our new build. I was blown away by how many termite stations they put in the ground to protect around our home. They are ontop of every follow up inspection. Couldn't ask for better service and company.
