Hired to carpet the Juneau FAA ATCT cab. Phenomenal job. Whereas their is many flights of stairs. Work was over night and ESD static grounded. Each step was in accordance to the manufacture instructions and within time and budget. End result is a top notch long lasting flooring and the owner was amazing.
Lots of marine related hardware. Some fishing gear and SE AK nautical charts. Lots of plumbing supplies. They carry a variety of stainless cable, rope and galvanized chain. A bit pricey.

Myself and my 3 girls all go see Kayla for our hair needs. Kayla and her salon are always amazing and make us all feel comfortable and beautiful!! If you have the chance to get in with her, don’t pass it up. She has also pierced my daughter’s ears and how she made my youngest (13) feel so safe is beyond pulling on my heart strings.

I just wish they provided more then just Shellac and nail polish. I would love if they provided waxing and some gel x or nail extension services.
They were fast in getting a estimate and didn’t try to add on things I didn’t need for more money. The gutter replacement was excellent. I would highly recommend Rain Country.

Melissa was fantastic!! I was visiting town for the weekend and needed a quick cut for a wedding.
I got a fade and she was able to freshen up the lines shaved into my eyebrows and side of my head.
She asked a lot of questions to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted and super communicative. Highly recommend her and the salon. All the staff were friendly and even collaborative. Great place, long wait on the weekend if you don't make an appointment. The woman is skilled, fast and gentle. Never had any hair pulling, snagging or discomfort. She always cuts it exactly as I envision, even if I am bad at explaining.

Traveling on a cruise ship and needed a quick, easy haircut. I wish she lived in my home town so I could get hair cuts here all the time.
Great local barber, the shop is a bit small and can feel crowded when it's busy but the cuts are great! The shop has a very classic vibe to it with lots of cool things on the wall to look at!

What a wonderful experience! I had a pedicure, and it was one of the best I've had. The salon was clean, relaxing, and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and professional. Loved Amy her mom. They took their time, paid attention to every detail, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire appointment.
I left feeling pampered, refreshed, and with beautiful results. I would absolutely recommend this salon and will definitely be back the next time I'm in town!

Booked ahead of our trip to Juneau. 15 minute walk from the cruise port. Great staff and nice shop. Very clean and bright. Our manis and pedi were fantastic!
The newly remodeled space is awesome! I saw Ena and she did exactly what I wanted and took her time with me- not getting my skin once and no sloppy adhesive left on my cuticles or skin. She did a hard gel fill and a deluxe gel pedicure.

Great experience, Janell was so kind and walked me through my first wax. She was very knowledgeable answering all of my questions. The studio was also very clean and inviting.

We needed some wiring for a dishwasher install. I was able to get an appt within a week. Bill was great over the phone and Blain was prompt and professional. Not hand washing dishes anymore!!

I highly recommend S&S. They provided quick and efficient service as they replaced my old Monitor heater with a new Toyo.
I bought a house this year and made an appointment (booked a bit out but good service is like that). Alaska Hearth was even able to search their system by address so they had service records that I hadn't had access to so that was nice. Their team was quick and efficient and my woodstove is working great. Will definitely call them again next year for annual service.

Dr. Baastrup is amazing. First chiropractor in two years that relieved my rib issue. He treats the entire spine every visit ( and for me my ribs) . He is also helpful and knowledgeable and explains the what and why of your problem and will also give you exercises to help strengthen your affected areas. Very glad to have found him. Highly recommend.
