I had my furnace replaced last fall by a company called Pro Air Heating and Cooling. It’s a family run HVAC business located in Okotoks. The original furnace was 20 years old and not very energy efficient. The owner recommended to replace the furnace with an upgraded energy efficient one, and I agreed with him. It took Pro Air around 3 hours to complete the removal, new installation and clean up. I must say the experience, know how and professionalism of Pro Air Heating is top notch, and I highly recommend this Company. And by the way I have definitely noticed a decrease in my cold months utility bill.
Jeremy from Precision Window Washing did an outstanding job on our 2400 square foot bungalow with very large windows. His attention to the tiniest detail was impressive. Jeremy was very professional and left our property cleaner than when he arrived. The communication from the first initial phone call to the day of arrival was top notch. A Five-Star Experience with Select Floors!
When we began shopping for high-end carpet for two large bedrooms, we contacted several well-known Calgary carpet stores. After unsuccessful attempts and unreturned calls, one company came to our country home to quote the job. They were very nice, but the price seemed high, and their plan required a crane to get the carpet into our second-floor primary suite.
We then tried Select Floors in nearby Okotoks because of its excellent reputation. Thank goodness we did.
Sue clearly explained the process and confirmed that Select Floors carried the Fabrica Ithaca 96-ounce nylon carpet and Healthier Choice 7/16-inch memory-foam underlay we wanted. Neil soon visited to assess a complicated project—these were definitely not simple four-cornered bedrooms. He carefully planned the seams to use the carpet efficiently and minimize waste. Kayla then prepared the quote using our architectural drawings, Neil’s measurements and the proposed seam locations.
Rick, the owner, became personally involved. He returned with Neil to verify every measurement and consider alternative approaches. Together they devised a brilliant solution that eliminated the crane: remove the old carpet, use it as a template and cut the new carpet into sections light enough to carry through the house and upstairs. This represented a substantial cost saving. Rick even worked out how each section could be manoeuvred around every turn without damaging our home.
The crew also agreed to handle all the heavy furniture, including dismantling and reassembling two king-sized beds. Their price was considerably more competitive than the Calgary quote. We paid a deposit when ordering, with the balance due only after we confirmed our satisfaction.
Before installation, Select Floors invited me to inspect the actual carpet rolls and extra-thick underlay after they arrived from the manufacturer. That attention to detail was remarkable.
The approximately 1,500-square-foot installation was scheduled within a few weeks. The team arrived exactly as promised: Rick; Neil, the head installer, with decades of experience; and Artur, Randy and Riley, who handled the heavy lifting.
They underpromised and overdelivered. A three-day installation was completed beautifully in only two. The new carpet looked gorgeous and felt wonderfully soft and luxurious underfoot. The crew returned every piece of furniture, reassembled both beds and left the rooms cleaner than when they arrived—all with smiles and a generous dose of good humour.
Neil and Rick’s installation in these multi-cornered rooms was flawless. There was not a single flaw or seam out of place; the seams were impossible to discern. I offered to pay immediately, but Rick said Sue would call the following week. She did exactly as promised—no hassles and no pressure.
From start to finish, Select Floors did a fantastic job. Sue kept us informed, Kayla prepared the quote, Rick managed every detail, Neil delivered a truly professional installation, and Artur, Randy and Riley worked with care and good humour.

I love the salon; the location and actual space itself has such a great feel to it. My hair is thick, long, and frizzy so it's a bit of a beast to tackle but my stylist, Jayda, is such a pro. I've been seeing her for about 3 years now and she is honestly the best. I usually go for a trim and either highlights or full colour depending on the mood - but because of my hair type it's usually a longer visit. She takes great care and precision into everything she does and I really appreciate it.

What can I say, I LOVE this place! I had a color/cut done by Fima. He was training a new apprentice, & it was so interesting listening to his instruction to her—he really is a master of his craft! He gave me exactly the blonde color that I was after and a beautiful cut! I used to dread getting my hair done, and he made my experience fun & relaxing. Came in for my son to fix a bad hair cut he had just gotten an hour prior at a different salon on the other side of town. He forgot the name of the stylist, but she was so lovely and really took the time to listen to him and made extra sure that he was happy with the fix. She did amazing, he was very pkeased with the end result. We will for sure be back to see her!

Jansen Plumbing was the best trade we hired for our basement finishing project. Chris was the only person willing to come out and quote the job, and he gave us a fair price without making us feel like we were being overcharged.
His team showed up on time, did great work, and were reliable throughout the process. Even the Town of Okotoks inspector knew of Jansen Plumbing and commented that they do great work, which gave us even more confidence in our choice.
Chris was also easy to reach and always willing to answer my questions directly. Even after we had paid the invoice and the work was finished, I called him weeks, maybe even months later, with questions about a change we were considering. He took the time to explain everything, put my mind at ease, and gave us a better solution than what my husband and I had originally been thinking.

Our cat had a little accident, and we weren't sure what it was. They examined him and offered to help him right away. That was especially fantastic as my daughter (it's her cat had to leave the next day to the Netherlands for at least six months). It was such a relief for her to know everything was okay.
Mirelle is always professional and calm with the dogs. She does a great job of looking over the dog and notices everything. I recommend her for small, medium and large dogs:)
