I’m writing this post to say how pleased my husband and I were with Lani. We are seniors and this was our first time in asking for help from Just Like Family.This lovely lady had a work ethic when it came to housecleaning that was fantastic. We live in a 4 bedroom up and down duplex and Lani was able to get 3 loads of laundry done, upstairs vacuumed, floors washed as needed, 2 bathrooms done, dusting if needed. Lani also helped me with getting foam cut to fit on the handles of my walker as my arthritis was making my hands hurt. Lani helped me look through boxes that were to go donation to make sure the items were all for the Drop Inn Centre. She was kind with my husband...read full review
Just Like Family was a fantastic company to work with. Every member of the team was consistent, caring and reliable. A special mention goes out to Simpy and Patricia, both of whom were kind, caring, and knew exactly how to navigate our situation and keep our loved one safe and cared for. A big thanks to Karen and her team. I strongly recommend Just Like Family.
My Husband’s caregiver Patricia, from Just Like Family, was very well loved by my Husband who has Alzheimer’s. She was exceptional with him because he wanted to be with me but she was always able to redirect him in such a manner that he never became upset. She amazingly even got him to do his exercises many times which he did not like to do. She engaged him in conversation which I know he especially enjoyed because he could regale her with stories of his childhood and young adulthood. Patricia made him lunch at noon and he said she made the best sandwiches. Patricia is very laidback and I believe this attitude was the reason she was such a good fit for my husband.
