We had a great experience with this company during our initial order. Unfortunately, when we tried to place a smaller follow-up order or had any issues, the process became unnecessarily difficult with Chad. We were repeatedly told by his assistant we needed to work through a designer, but the designer was unavailable and no alternative option was offered. We were not able to get a straightforward quote or assistance directly (kept emailing me one liners vs. picking up the phone and calling the customer with a solution). This was frustrating given our prior positive experience. Hoping they improve flexibility for repeat customers and smaller orders.

This talented team are our go to place for all the window coverings our interior design team commissions on behalf of our clients. We truly can not recommend them enough, if you are looking for custom window coverings for your own home do not hesitate to contact them!

We had a credit at Global Shades and asked our designer to work with Global Shades.
The final product is horrible. The rail system and snap attachments for the curtains is very poorly designed. It shows the rails. They used more innovative curtain hardware in the 1980s.
We got a wall of curtains and the amount of fabric they used actually caused my husband to laugh out loud. It looks like a rundown motel. You can see in the photo how they used almost double the amount of fabric necessary.
During the installation I expressed some of my concerns. The installer blamed the designer (“He insisted it be this way.”) and the designer blamed GlobalShades.
