My company was a customer of SMG. Keyword WAS. I have worked for and with numerous IT companies and I have to say - never have I ever dealt with a professional services or consulting firm that wouldn't provide a record of what they've done and when they did it. If I had to have them change/work on something for me? They controlled all the data so communication must be emailed to them so they can charge for the time to change it. After receiving a higher than expected billing from them, I requested information on what was done, when and by who, the response that I got was, time logs and related notes are "private internal communications" and I could not get them.
