The alteration was like over 7 days. She took two. A sweet caring lady. My daughter was going to prom and she didn't want to wait. So the service was quicker than expected. The prices are awesome.
I couldn't disagree more with "Unhappy Customer" from 3/14/2010. I have had nothing but great experiences with Raisa's business. She has taken in and let out many suits for me, and I have trusted her work on several new suits that required tailoring. I have found her turnaround time to be faster than what she promised on every occasion. As I write this, I have an order for 6 pairs of pants and three suit jackets that she is altering for me. I wasn't expecting that they would be ready before April 13th 2012, and she has left me three messages reminding me that they are ready to be picked up. I would not hesitate to refer Raisa to anyone I knew who needed a tailor.
Raisa is a fabulous tailor! (and I have high standards) She took me as a walk-in, offered a very reasonable price, and had my dress hemmed and ready for pickup the next day. Those commenting on her accent and customer service - if you are patient and nice you will get nothing but kindness and great service in return. She initially estimated a 4 day turnaround on my summer dress but then said "I thought I would have this done faster since summer is so short here". How sweet and thoughtful! I encourage everyone to support her business. (PS. As someone from a European family, her blunt communication style is normal in our culture)
