That means A++ skill, professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail. More recently, I've been seeing Emme at the Fitchburg location. I'll leave out the personal details of my services, but I appreciate that they work quickly, maintain truly exceptional cleanliness throughout the spaces, and are very good at reading the room--friendly enough to make you feel comfortable, but absolutely able to match the customer's preferred style. For me, that means less chit-chat and more "get down to business," especially since I go through these appointments without pain suppressants. Velvet continues to earn 5 stars.“

“I got a massage with Liz, and I have to say it was LITERALLY the best massage I’ve ever had! I deal with knots in my neck and asked Liz if she could focus on that area. Liz is the FIRST masseuse who REALLY got in there and worked to get them out. I find it very hard to find someone that can give a good deep tissue massage, but Liz had no problem applying firm pressure for the entire hour! She even gave me some really great tips on what I can do afterwards. Liz is very mindful and has a very calming and peaceful presence, which really makes a huge difference. I have never felt so loose and relaxed! If you get a massage, GO TO LIZ! You will NOT be disappointed, and you’ll walk out feeling like a new person! 10 stars!!

Even though I didn’t give him much to work with, he still managed to give me one of the cutest haircuts I’ve ever had. Ken is trained in the Vidal Sassoon technique, which is to hairstyling what music theory is to a musician—an essential foundation that elevates his work to an art form. He’s newer in town, having been here just two years, so get in before he’s solidly booked. If you're looking for a stylist who will give you exactly what you're hoping for, I highly recommend Ken!“

“Phenix Salon is a nice building. Inside entrance is nice & welcoming. Love the water feature on the wall when you first walk in. The place offers people to open their own salons within the building which is great. So they have many different businesses inside that all are salons, barbers, massage, eyebrow & maybe facials 2. I have been getting my hair done @ My Studio inside Phenix for several years & have been following Dale for 30+ years. Unfortunately he is leaving the Phenix building this month & moving My Studio to Monona Dr. but I highly recommend checking out some of the other businesses inside Phenix Salon Suites. I have not personally tryed any of them but they seem to be good businesses. Otherwise look up My Studio on Monona Dr. for a great hair salon.“
