Janet has been my go-to person at various Dean retail optical locations for years. She is skilled, warm and very helpful. In addition, she gets it right; and if the fit isn’t up to her high standards, she works on it until you AND she are satisfied. I highly recommend her.

--the glasses are okay....the service to the glasses, subpar--I have progressive lenses and after a month I was noticing that I was working(behind a computer) with my head tilted back to see better. Something I didn't have to do with old glasses. Brought them in, they adjusted them, results were minimal. Now, 7~8 months later, one lens has a noticeable scratch on it. I called, they said 'yes, you have a one year warranty, but you already brought them in once for adjustment and our warranty is only for one fix.'ARE YOU KIDDING ME! THIS IS NOT THE DEFINITION OF A WARRANTY!!!UPDATE....changing my one star review to three...they did contact me and fix my issue--not giving...read full review

I was really disappointed to learn that they could not make me correct lenses for my "walking around glasses," by matching the prescription in the lenses in my broken pair of glasses which could not be repaired. But, staff in the optical department explained what I needed to do, and how best to time everything so as to get new lenses installed as soon as possible, as I'm walking around, and sitting watching tv without the benefit of glasses that let me see things 6+ feet away. When I left the building, everything was set for me to get the new lenses installed, and I was even lucky to be able to snatch a freshly made cancellation, so I'll get it done tomorrow!
