“We’ve been taking our dog, Rufus, to Fur Babies since he was about a year old, and we couldn’t be happier. He goes every week, and it’s clear how much he loves it. By the time Wednesday rolls around, he’s already waiting by the door, ready to go!

Katie makes Rufus feel welcome when we drop him off, which means a lot to us. She also shares photos and videos, and it’s so fun (and reassuring) to see him having such a great time while he’s there.

Rufus is so well cared for, and he always comes home happy and worn out (which says a lot!). Highly recommend Fur Babies to anyone looking for a reliable, caring place for their dog.“

“I’ve been taking my dogs to Central Bark for almost three years now and it’s honestly been an amazing experience. I don’t use them for boarding, but I bring my dogs in regularly for grooming and they always do a great job.

Peter, the manager, is awesome to work with. He’s super accommodating and always finds a way to get my dogs scheduled. We’ve got them on a routine now which makes everything really easy.

Alyssa does a phenomenal job with both of my dogs, a Labradoodle and an Australian Shepherd. My Aussie can be pretty anxious,, so I was a little worried at first, but they’ve handled him incredibly well. They’re patient, know what they’re doing, and you can tell they actually care about the dogs.

I’ve never had a bad experience here. The whole team is great and always quick to respond if I have any questions.

“I take my two doggies here for grooming. They do a fantastic job and are very patient with my dogs. My big girl is 14 years old and needs TLC while being groomed. Kelsie always gives her the extra time and care she needs. My dachshund went today for the very first time and came home happy, soft and fluffy.
They sell the cutest dog cookies and treats here, too. My girls say they are delicious.“

“In what can only be described as one of the more embarrassing moments of my adult life and a true blight in pet ownership, my anxious pup failed his compatibility assessment with flying colors today. Despite that, I was fully impressed with the facility and the staff. They are all very kind, knowledgeable, and it is clear their ability to keep animals safe and comfortable. I also love their outward support for diversity and inclusion in the community. If I had a dog that was better suited for a daycare experience, I would come here without hesitation. My dog may be getting a one star review, but these guys get five!“

“I recently took my dog, Ginger, for her second lymes disease vaccination. Due to the appointment being strictly with the vet tech, I only had to pay for the vaccine. The vet tech actually gave Ginger the injection in the waiting room because there were no other clients/patients there at the time. Ginger didn't even notice that she received the injection. The vet tech gave her treats for being a good girl. The tech asked for permission to give Ginger treats before she did.“

“We absolutely love The Dog Sanctuary in Sussex, and so does our 1-year-old Bernedoodle, Phoenix! He’s extremely social and high-energy, and this has been the perfect place for him to play, socialize, and burn off some energy.

Sarah and her team are incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely care about every dog that comes through their doors. We’re still working on some obedience training with Phoenix, and they’ve been nothing but patient, understanding, and supportive in our efforts. We truly appreciate their commitment to creating a safe, fun, and well-managed environment for all dogs.

It means a lot to us that they take the time to ensure every dog has a great experience—even when it comes to managing occasional behavioral challenges. Their dedication and professionalism give us peace of mind every time we drop Phoenix off.

“I have an 18 yo cocker spaniel and Sara does such a wonderful job with his groom. Communication is always great, she listens to both what I want and what he needs. At 18, she gives him the breaks he needs and takes her time grooming him. I am so glad I made the switch to CCPR!“

“We have 2 Labs, 8 years old, and 5 months old. We started going to Chas for training because our older had some behavior problems (pulling on walks, barking at people walking by the house, mostly). After getting our new puppy, we decided it was time to get serious about training.....starting off with the new puppy on the right foot, and getting the older to behave better. Well, it's been quite impressive what our dogs are like now compared to when we started, and we still have more lessons to go!Peaceful pull-free walks, following commands SO much better, counter surfing drastically reduced and almost gone! etc. Chas is truly an expert at training dogs, and when you put the work in, meaning you do EXACTLY WHAT HE SAYS, you get results. Going to Dog's Best Friend has been the best decision we ever made with our dogs. Hands down, the BEST! Everything and every other method we've tried has been a waste of time.
