“We needed our rotting railroad tie retaining wall, a shared fence, our gate, and part of the neighbors' front yard fence replaced.

Artistic Landscapes was great to work with. Robert explained everything in detail when he came out to provide the bid, we were kept informed throughout the process, and Robert was quick to respond to text questions. They were even able to start the job early.

Jeve and his crew did a fantastic job with the demo of the old wall and fencing, building the new block retaining wall, and setting new fence posts. The old retaining wall ran right up to the property line with the fence attached to it. Because we were replacing it with block, the new shared fence would have to run either behind the retaining wall or in front of it. We had the new fence built on the property line, so the new wall was set slightly back from that with enough room that we can easily take care of any weeds that may grow between the fence and wall.

Bonafacio and his crew did a beautiful job. The fence posts that our gate and the neighbors' gate attach to are 6 x 6 posts instead of 4 x 4 posts for added stability. He also installed our gate so it would open wider than the old one.

Both crews kept the work site extremely clean. The only noise we heard from them was construction noise so they were very work-from-home friendly.

Robert did a final inspection of both the work and job site cleanup after the work was finished and gave us information on how to care for the new fence and retaining wall.

He can be a little bit hard to get ahold of via his office, but once we were in touch with him directly, he got a date set up for his worker Juvenal to come out and do some major pruning/cleanup to our messy yard. Juvenal showed up on time and worked like a machine (he's been with the company for many years and has worked on our yard before). So be persistent with his office--call back if you need to--and Dave will get you taken care of.“
