The administrators of Spokane Emergency Care Physicians are bad actors. They will bill patients directly without attempting to file claims with the patient's insurance. This practice is immoral and unethical. I know they are not required by law to do so, but maybe we can avoid going to the Multicare Valley Hospital ER and take our business somewhere else to another hospital that actually cares for its patients and actually bills their insurance.

I have paid my bill but I keep getting texts about a final notice and it doesn’t show my payment credited on my account online. Been on hold FOREVER to try and talk to someone to fix this. Make sure you take a screenshot of your payment confirmation.

Update 8/11/25: I have now called them 3 separate times in the last month about the bills that they have sent and the texts they keep sending. Each time I am told that my son’s insurance has covered the total and that I do not need to do anything and they will change the balance to $0. I even have proof of them saying this. Now today I have received a “FINAL NOTICE” bill from them in very threatening all upper case letters saying that this is basically the last chance I have until I will be sent to collections.
