They removed everything down to the structure, replaced all the plywood, repaired damaged areas and built new crickets. For such a major job, the price was very fair and the quality was outstanding.

During the project a big storm hit & at 3 AM we discovered a small leak above our bed. I called our project manager, Jeff Eason & he immediately responded driving from Bremerton to Belfair and was on our roof at 3:30 AM fixing the issue himself in the storm. That kind of dedication is almost unheard of these days. This impressed us more than words can convey.

This was due to vents that breakdown far earlier than the shingles by the original builders of our house. Stanley Roof and Solar does quality work and with quality materials, excellent communication, got the job done quickly ahead of schedule... costs were as expected from quote even with a new discovery to repair a vent stem as work went underway. “Quickly responded and got the work done. They suggested changes like removing the covered gutters. They trimmed a large bush that was touching the roof. Looking at the bush, it doesn’t seem it was trimmed correctly or even enough to last more than a few months. So that was disappointing considering the extra cost we paid for the trimming. Otherwise, it was sufficient.“

“MCE Roofing was great. They weren't the least expensive as we have three buildings, 2 story house, 2 story garage & a well house. But I can't imagine anyone else doing a better all around job. The crew was respectful (no loud music) & they cleaned up every night before they left. After completion, there is virtually no sign of the project, except pretty new roofs. “We received a mailer from Matador Exteriors in May 2024, with a Google Maps picture of our home and an estimate for a roof replacement. A few days later I saw a message from Christie O’Dore on the Nextdoor website asking if anyone had received their mailer. At the time I wasn’t considering a new roof, but it was 20 years old and I knew it was just a matter of time , so I messaged Christie and told her that I would keep their mailer for future reference. I appreciated receiving the mailer rather than having someone knock on our door to try to sell us a roof because “they were in the neighborhood replacing so and so’s roof.” The estimate was detailed with two different options for shingles, gutters and downspouts. A few months later after some heavy rain I noticed some streaking that I had seen before I got the house painted last year. I called and Matt O’Dore came out, looked in the attic and the condition of our lower roof and pointed out how the edges of the shingles were starting to show fiberglass and how their should be more attic vents as well as roof vents for our bathroom fans. Matt provided an formal quote which was close to his estimate so I accepted the bid for new shingles, gutters, and downspouts with clean-out traps to prevent clogging downstream. We are very happy with the materials and workmanship, and how clean they left our yard when the work was completed. We also enjoyed working with Matt who came out to inspect the project and perform a final sweep for debris. We purchased the larger gutters and downspouts, the gutters are mounted with an internal bracket and screwed to the rafter tails, rather than large spikes which are visible on the outside of the gutters.“
