Gastro Health has always had an excellent rapport with patients. From the check in desk, staff, nurses and the physicians. Phenomenal Medical Team. They listen, they are also very good at explaining things and you feel that they care.
Dr. Owns does a great job working with even more specialized specialists like major research institutions for rare conditions and continuing my care locally without a hitch. He goes through and is very thorough and with explanations and ruling out diagnosis. Even when they are common, he isn't quick to jump to them and dismiss your concerns and how seemingly small things impact your life in a big way. He listens and explains at your level-never assuming you understand or the opposite, don't. He looks at the whole picture of the patient-environment, stress, genetics, familial, diet, etc. No ego, all care.
Dr. Owen took the time to make sure I knew exactly what my problem was. He took his time and made sure I was thoroughly informed and provided an honest opinion of what my options are. It's nice to have a doctor who will take the time to listen to your concerns.
