I feel very fortunate to have Dr Fong as my urologist and Laser surgeon, and more so since my surgery and stay at Colby providence. P.S. “Symmetria helped change my life
In January or February 2019, I attended a free dinner seminar on stem cell therapy led by Dr. Gill. At that time, I was going through a very difficult period. I had just lost my Mom and my best friend, and I was also ending a terrible relationship. Additionally, I was in the process of moving my Dad in with me, which required many adjustments to my lifestyle.
At 58 years old, I had been relying on a cane to get around. My orthopedic doctor recommended scheduling a knee replacement since other treatments were not effective. My mental and physical outlook were quite poor.
The seminar with Dr. Gill and his staff was enlightening. One striking point Dr. Gill made was about how stem cell therapy could open up opportunities for activities like going to the park, grocery shopping, and enjoying a better quality of life. In May of that same year, I faced another setback when I was laid off from my sales job, adding to the series of challenges I had already encountered. This marked the beginning of my new life though, as I was now able to commit to the required stem cell protocol. During this time, I met Dr. Bill, Corrie, and other amazing staff who guided me through laser treatment and rehabilitation.
In just two months, I was back in the gym, participating in spin classes, and embarking on a disciplined health and fitness journey that continues to this day. Being my Dad’s caretaker was a transformative experience. With my renewed love for life and myself, I decided in early 2021 to address my dental issues, including losing teeth and gum disease.
In January 2021, I had my teeth removed and received dental implants. Although it was a ten-month journey, my health improved significantly, and I achieved a Hollywood smile. I realize now that I would not have been able to make this financial or mental commitment if I had still been dealing with the bone-on-bone knee pain that plagued me prior to the stem cell therapy.
I have continued on my journey to becoming a better man, health and fitness plays a significant role in that transformation. Since my initial stem cell therapy in May 2019, I have returned for PRP and Vitti Pure treatments, and every two years, I receive a stem cell boost in my knee. This has undoubtedly been a worthwhile investment, enabling me to maintain a very active lifestyle.
There is no price on wellness and freedom within your body. The doors that this journey has opened for me—a great smile, a love for life, and happiness—are invaluable. I started this process at 58, feeling like I was going on 78. Now, at 66, I feel as though I am aging backwards. I genuinely feel 20 years younger and continue to prioritize my health through resistance training, proper nutrition, supplements, skincare, and peptides.
Additionally, a couple of years ago, I began undergoing IV treatments at Symmetria, which I consider another effective anti-aging tool in my wellness regimen. On a side note, I met someone in the IV room who has been on a continued health and fitness journey with me, and I’m currently in the best relationship of my life with her.
In 2025 I was introduced to stem cell IV therapy at Symmetria. I will be getting a facelift in late May 2026, and Symmetria is arranging IV stem cell and NAD+ IV support to optimize the outcome. And she was very caring and willing to help to soothe my medical condition I was struggling with. I didn’t feel rushed and she listened to all my complains and problems. “I had a good initial visit the internal medicine WSU depart. The front desk staff were welcoming. The back office staff were through and pleasant. The doctors were very good. The only 2 items that detracted from the visit, the parking validation. I did not understand it. QR codes are not my forte'. Also we talked about drawing labs but I was not given directions where find the labs. So, I forgot and came home. I called the office and I will go to Monroe to get my labs in the morning.
