122 128th St SE, Everett“My son is 7 years old and has been attending Active Martial Arts Mill Creek for about two months now, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience.
Coach Cameron is awesome! My son has been enjoying every class and has already made impressive progress with his kicking and punching skills in just a few weeks. The instructors do much more than teach martial arts—they also teach valuable life lessons such as discipline, respect, confidence, and perseverance.
One thing I really appreciate is the flexibility of the program. If we miss a class, we can easily make it up on another day, which is very convenient for busy families.
The entire staff is helpful, friendly, and cooperative. Coach Jeff, the owner, is a genuinely great person who truly cares about the students and their families. He is always approachable and willing to help.
The location is convenient, the facility is great, and the pricing is very reasonable. I compared several martial arts schools in the area, and many were more expensive without offering the same level of quality and support. Active Martial Arts is by far the best option I found in Mill Creek, Lynnwood , Bothell area.
I highly recommend Active Martial Arts to anyone looking for a martial arts program for their children. It has been an excellent experience for our family.“

3922 148th St SE Ste 100, Mill Creek“My kids, who are now in 7th grade and 3rd grade, have been attending here since 2022. Over the past four years, they have grown so much, and most importantly, they’ve learned through taekwondo how to behave respectfully, show good manners, and take responsibility for their own actions.
Especially after my younger son earned his black belt, he became much more confident. Now he is no longer afraid to try other sports besides taekwondo and is willing to challenge himself in many different activities.
Unlike other taekwondo schools, students here start taking knowledge tests beginning at the yellow belt level before every belt test. Even young children must recite in front of the masters and instructors the vocabulary words they learned for each belt level and explain their meanings. It’s definitely not easy to get kids to memorize all of that, but every child studies hard and learns how to prepare seriously for each test.
Master Yoo also truly cares about every single child. If a student forgets to bring something or does not follow directions, he personally communicates with the parents. His level of care, attention, and passion for the students really stands out.
My kids are still doing very well here, and I highly recommend this place.“

19720 44th Ave W Ste m, Lynnwood“We’ve been part of the Seattle Taekwondo family for over three years now, and I can confidently say it has been one of the best decisions we’ve made for our children. Both of my boys, Baraa and Anas, have grown tremendously—not just in their Taekwondo skills, but in their confidence, discipline, and focus.
The instructors here are incredibly dedicated, patient, and inspiring. They know how to motivate the children while maintaining respect and structure in every class. It’s clear they genuinely care about each student’s progress, both on and off the mat.
Over the years, I’ve watched Baraa and Anas become more confident in themselves, physically stronger, and mentally more resilient. They look forward to every class, and they take pride in what they’ve learned. The atmosphere is always positive, safe, and welcoming—like an extended family.
Seattle Taekwondo isn’t just about martial arts—it’s about building character and empowering kids for life. We are beyond grateful for the amazing experience and highly recommend it to any family looking for a place that truly supports children’s growth.“

A friend recommended Cascade Jiu Jitsu to me. I stopped by and was immediately welcomed in by a diverse, enthusiastic and friendly group of people including the instructor Mohammed. They even lent me Gi. A seasoned fellow student introduced himself and invited me to work with him. He was patient and eager to teach. After class I met with Professor Andrew who was instructive and supportive. I will definitely be back and I may even bring my family. 100% I would recommend Cascade Jiu Jitsu to anyone who is looking for a great gym with a positive culture and welcoming environment.“

“I attended TKD Way back in 2014 for a year after 10 years at a different studio in a different state, and the only reason I left was because my family relocated again (military brat). Although I was there for a short time, the impact Master Auhn had was huge. His black belt classes were challenging and fun, and his energy made me want to learn as much as I could from him. I'm glad to see business is doing well.“
