good for kids
USTA Martial Arts is a wonderful place for kids and adults to learn taekwondo. The instructors are patient, knowledgeable, and caring, making classes fun and engaging. Students love attending classes and are eager to continue learning. Parents have seen positive changes in their children's attitudes and behavior at home and in school. With a supportive and encouraging environment, USTA Martial Arts is a great place to start or continue a taekwondo journey.
Absolutely love this program! From day one my son was very interested in the reward system that they apply for academics and for being kind. All the teachers are so nice and supportive 🤍
It’s amazing how much these classes have helped my son. When he first started, he was running all over the place, not listening, and being extra silly. Now, he listens much better, and when he starts to act up, I can remind him of the class rules and he quickly gets back on track—even picking up his toys without being asked. He absolutely loves going to class and learning all the cool moves and kicks. If your child has difficulty listening or following directions, this place is definitely worth it.
This place is fantastic. I have boy/girl twins in kindergarten and a coparent, so the sibling discount, flexible schedule, and ability to make up classes fits the bill vs the karate dojo we transitioned from.
The classes are smaller in comparison & the age spans only 3 years, so your kids spend more time learning skills & getting 1:1 help rather than instructors defaulting to group exercise because they’re overwhelmed.
What really sold me is the owner/manager. He is a consummate professional who radiates positive, calm, energy & conducts himself with integrity & respect that percolates to the instructors.
