“Overall we are very happy to have made the decision to have home addition work done through Renewal and Remodel. Would highly recomend this company to anyone who wants to do a remodel or addition project for home.

I had a project to add a master bedroom suite with a closet above my Single story Garage. Troy and Kate had dropped by to understand our needs. Troy was wonderfull to work with to help me understand what all will be needed for this. He listned to all our requirments and came up with a good engineering and structrural plan with his team. The design and aproval with the City took a little longer but it was worth it.

Once the work started , Colin was our project Manager from Renewal. Colin was very thorough and meticulous with the project. He made sure we had as little disturbance and clutter in and around house while the work was in progress. Colin was great in all the coordination with different crew for various tasks during the entire period of construction and kept us well informed. The work went as planned and completed within our estimated timeline.

Renewal had a very good communication and had all the schedules for various activity up on their site for our project. All the contractors that worked for Renewal were good , courteous and knowledgeable about their work.

I would also like to thank George who dropped by to check how the work was progressing and made sure things were done the right way.“

She was a great communicatior and was always prepared for our design meetings. She listened completely to our interests and helped us explore the different choices to help us get to the right solutions for our house. “We used Leviar designs to help us with our flooring (engineered wood for main living area, and carpet in bedrooms. and I had a great experience from picking flooring to final installation.

They were super communicative through out the process. and really pay attention to quality. we had to reorder stairnose casing b/c they warped and weren't up to standards.

I would say they also worked really hard. Fast but very careful, while we were living in the house with all the changes.

I really do appreciate their effort to get the project done for us.

“At 25 years old, our house needed an overall refresh. New paint on walls and woodwork, floors resanded and stained, new carpet and furniture—is a big job for any homeowner. In addition, we wanted to make some major modifications to our master bath to accommodate the needs of aging in place.

I just couldn’t face making all of the decisions necessary for such a project. I knew from experience that I wasn’t interested in the sort of casual direction that is common with decorators available from general contractors or furniture stores. I wanted something more structured and predictable. So the search for a decorator began…

I started with an internet search for an interior decorator and realized that I wanted something different. I wanted an “interior designer”. When I found Sarah’s website my real education began. As a professional, I have become convinced of the advantage of “process”. Building a process requires reflection and provides a structure for creating a cohesive design. Sarah has created a process for design. The steps are not difficult, but when followed as directed by a professional designer, the results can be spectacular.

My house is large, and by its very nature, impressive. I wanted a more elevated design that would feel homey and yet sophisticated. The entire design hit that objective perfectly, but the bathroom design is really stunning. It looks like a photo from a magazine.

While most projects are painful, our experience was mitigated for us by Sarah and the folks at Nuance. Detailed drawings, vendor interactions, product samples and site visits were all part of our service experience. I am grateful that I hired Nuance. A difficult and daunting project was simplified and the outcome is everything I hoped for.“

“Stonewood Design. Inc worked on our home improvement project in 2023, doing a fabulous redesign of our main suite and guest bathroom. Project Manager Brienna was a WOW! handling the design build to the finishing, with very elite professionalism and attention to details. “Plum Projects did an extensive remodel of our 1959 mid-Century home in the Seward Park area. There were quite a few challenging aspects, but Plum came up with some really brilliant, creative solutions. The result was beautiful! They have such good design and aesthetic sense.
