The technicians were great I needed hot water tank so the tank was 700 my bill was 4100 when they got done I asked how much was the labor and they just said it’s all in the cost no real answer
I gave it a 5 star for the great techs
But the cost to me kinda shady

I have been a long term customer for over ten years and have to say the service is going downhill lately. The technician they sent last time was nice but not very experienced. I felt she was answering my questions from something out of a handbook she just studied and memorized without getting to the actual point. She even tried to sell me something I have already had and was also installed by AAA. Besides, their new scheduling system sucks that they would only give a whole day window. I received multiple phone calls starting from 9 am telling me I am the next but when the time they actually were going to send someone my way was already late afternoon. The lady on the phone was nice enough to reschedule me to a day in the morning with a 2 hours window. I hope they can consider bringing back their old way of doing business.

Brad and Edgar came by and serviced our furnace. Very professional, personable, respectful.
They even wore shoe covers. 10/10

AVOID AAA! I had AAA installed a central AC unit back in July 2023 and my bill was almost $14k. The AC installation quality was definitely NOT AAA!!! Shortly after installation, I expressed concerns that the AC is not cool/cold for my house and my bedroom upstairs reach's 80F+ even with AC on. AAA came back and said nothing was wrong and even said oh maybe your builder should have installed 2 HVAC systems. I actually questioned their experience as the crew came out for an assessment based on my house sq footage and recommended this unit for my house and I was later told by another tech that the is AC unit is a bit small for my house.. unsure whether they were trying to sell some other unpopular units to their clients.

Fast fwd, I hired another company for maintenance today and was told and shown that there were rust and water in my unit and the Inducer has a crack due to POOR gas pipe installation by AAA. Also, the tech told me AAA should have put in a bigger AC unit for my house instead of blaming I need another HVAC. Hence, AAA did not have experience staff to do initial assessment to determine AC BTU size and their installation was POORLY done!

Hi, I don't like leaving one star reviews but this was a horrible experience. I've used AAA/Southwest numerous times before, including a heater replacement in one of our homes. One of our homes that my parents live in needs a new heater. I called AAA to have someone come out for an estimate and was told it was okay if my dad was there since I'm working. He received a call from Cynthia in dispatch, from Southwest Heating, who said I needed to be there. She said if I'm not there they can't come out, even though I gave my dad permission to speak to the tech. I tried calling back, left a voicemail for her, responded to the text but never heard back for over an hour. I called the regular number and the appointment was canceled. I guess you need me there to talk about the heater but you don't need to let me know when you cancel an appointment?

The following day, we decided to try again. My wife called to set up an appointment and confirmed with whom she spoke with that indeed, anyone over 18 can be home and the home owner not needed to be present. The tech showed up, told my father he can’t proceed if the home owner isn’t there. The tech called dispatch to confirm. I called back, asked what happened, I spoke with a lady who apologized and said sorry, and that she’ll call the tech and get the estimate done. Half hour later, dispatch texted me to call so I did. Spoke with someone who said that I needed to be there. I said this makes no sense since the day before I was told that wasn’t necessary, my wife this morning was told that wasn’t necessary, and when I called back this day was told not necessary. I even said they fixed the heater last winter without me being there. All I needed was an estimate for a new furnace. Nothing further. And they couldn’t provide that. A lot of miscommunication within the company and a lot of my time wasted. I’ve been a repeat customer and with three homes, you think they would care about return business as we’ve done a few services with them before, but no longer recommended. The four other companies that we got estimates for a new furnace with, I did not need to be there. They still spoke with my father and provided me with detailed estimates.

Don't like the automated scheduling over the phone. Was automatically scheduled without having a chance to discuss fee. Taking my business elsewhere.

Besides the positive perk of same day availability to come for a diagnosis for my furnace, the quote was completely overpriced. The reasonable diagnostic price is a way to get overcharged for HVAC problems and labor that's unreasonable.

My problem is that my furnace wouldn't turn on and I was told my gas valve needed to be replaced. They quoted me $1600 for the parts and labor. Luckily after declining the service due to price, I went on Youtube to see what I could do myself first. The gas valve was only $117 and seemed easy to replace but then I found an even easier and cheaper solution.

Long story short, I researched a lot on Youtube and it said to clean the flame sensor in my furnace with a dollar bill or steel brush and see if it would help my furnace turn on. IT DID! I ended up fixing my furnace with a nut driver and a dollar bill.

Robert the owner of the company very helpful and trustworthy. We installed a new furnace very reasonable price. He is not taking advantage to the seniors but he is helping them. His crew that installed very knowledgeable .

Changed rating. Services isn't near as good since sw plumbing merged. Just had new system put in, it's having issues. Have been told many different times new parts would be in and still not fixed, one part was on backorder and I was told it was coming that week, well apparently that week still hasn't came. I was told they would give me a call and keep me updated... didn't happen... I had to call and got the same answer... it will be here by Friday. Well its another Saturday and no call still. Brand new system, replacing 3 parts, to the point I want the whole thing replaced, why would someone spend 20k and want parts replace.
