I have spent years traveling to Seattle to get my haircut by a curly hair stylist. Then I learned of Grace at Gem Hair. She is a MASTER curly stylist!!!! Grace has been doing my hair for many years now. I came in with overgrown, frizzy and brittle hair. She revived my hair. She takes care of my hair but most importantly teaches me how to take care of my own hair by educating me on proper drying and styling techniques specific to my curl pattern and hairstyle. She has been with me through many different cuts and styles until I found what works better for my lifestyle and personality. She's an amazing stylist and highly recommend her for anyone who is ready to embrace their hair texture.

I came to GEM hair from another well known salon in the tri cities, after finding they just didn't really know how to work with my curly hair. Grace was recommended to me from another curly girl friend who raved about her work.I had a great phone consultation, and immediately booked an appointment. Grace asked me a lot of questions, and while she was working she would actively share knowledge and tricks about curly hair and why it sometimes behaves differently.
