“This was the first time we ever boarded our dog Bella since we moved to Maple Valley in 2017. We needed to have Bella watched for mid winter break but our neighbors were also going to be gone so I went online and made a reservation with Centennial Kennels. While we were on our trip they would send daily emails with pictures of Bella playing outside, we all loved it especially my son since he was missing her. Every day he would ask if I got pictures of Bella. While on our trip I called to see if they could give her a bath on the day of pick up. I chose the bath, brush and nail clipping package for about $75. On the day I picked her up my son wanted to go also to see Bella, she looked and “smelled “ wonderful. We are definitely using Centennial Kennels again for our spring break trip. Thank you Centennial Kennels for taking such good care of Bella! ????“

“Bonnie has been our groomer and boarding option for over 15 years. She is gentle and very patient with dogs who have special needs. My dogs look so cute after they are done! Her boarding is quiet and low stress and in a beautiful country setting.“

“I’ve been taking Uber to Pickles ever since she was a wee pup. Now Uber is 2 years old, we only stopped going because we moved away from Redmond. Really wish we had a Pickles in Seattle!I love that they have a schedule during daycare. There are times during pickup where the lights are off, the structured downtime definitely helped Uber relax at home too.They host cute events like movie time and massage days.I opted into nail and bath services frequently, and she always comes home looking great. Never smells like dog either.Note that they don’t do daycare on Saturdays and Sundays, but I believe they do board.Uber always comes home happy and tired, and I can tell that the staff genuinely enjoyed her presence as well. We’ll miss Pickles, it’s a great daycare.“

“Sheila is the best cat groomer in the Seattle metro region - schedule immediately.Why? Cat groomers are not a dime a dozen like dog groomers. And I found this out the hard way relocating from Chicago to Seattle this past summer.I have two Persian females sisters who are accustomed to monthly beauty parlor appointments to keep them in tip top shape and feeling their best.We had an amazing groomer in Chicago who we saw for several years. Upon moving to Seattle we were initially guided in the wrong direction with a horrible groomer in Bothel who severely assaulted my one Persian during her session with said Monster.I called my previous groomer in Chicago who then did her research and generously found Sheila and her establishment in Issaquah. My Chicago groomer said Sheila was properly trained (as many groomers are not - they just switch careers and call themselves cat groomers with no training).That’s not the case with Wizard of Paws. This is a wonderful establishment full of love and quality groomers who care - including the woman who owns and operates this beauty of a cat grooming parlor.We had a great first experience today and Sheila pulled herself away from her lunch to meet me and my two girls and put us all at ease given our previous experience in Bothel 8 weeks ago.Sheila suggested no bathing for Snowhite since she still has an open wound on her back left hip from the previous “groomer.”Both girls came home looking amazing and happy and purring and Snowhite told me she feels safe in her new beauty parlor.Prices are super reasonable and we immediately scheduled their next spa day for November.And the in-house resident Queen, Dorothy is very loving and welcoming.We found our new people and we are very happy!Wizard of Paws is the Emerald Gem of Seattle!“
