1950 130th Ave NE # 3, Bellevue“I've been to numerous martial arts spots and compared. I speak from the most genuine place when I say that the instructor truly matters. Levi is that instructor. You can tell it is a true passion for him and that every single student matters when he is teaching. It's not just instruction for the class as a whole but he really takes his time to go around with each student to ensure that their form is proper as well as making sure they are involved individually. The best part of the class is when Levi takes the time to sit the students down and shares relatable stories which contributes to topics such as self confidence, bullying and overall how to be a good human in today's society. It's more than just your typical martial arts class; it's a family.
Keep up the great work Levi, you're one of a kind and thank you for the impact you make on these kids.“

David started classes 2 weeks ago and is very happy with everything he has learned. It is worth mentioning that even without speaking English well and his physical limitations, they have been patient and have taught him much more than he expected; Something important that I would like to mention is that my son is used to discipline and loves what he does; We have weight loss goals for him and this is definitely working for him, I am sure he is in good hands.“

My seven year old has been coming for a little over 2 years now, and we're very pleased with his progress and improved confidence among other changes.“

13222 SE 30th St a4, Bellevue“I primarily train Muay Thai here, so I'll speak on that. It's a great training environment for beginners as well as competitive amateur fighters. Both coaches are absolute killers but also very nice and easy to get along with. The classes focus heavily on technique but provide a decent workout as well. More advanced people stay after class for open mat, which are mostly sparring, but you can also do bag work or work on specific drills. Egos do exist but are rare and not the norm here. Those with a lot of ego who go hard in sparring with no respect towards others eventually get it handed to them by more advanced fighters, so that balances things out and keep the training culture respectful. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to try combat sports and to grow in the art of Muay Thai with a supportive group.“

4063 148th Ave NE, Bellevue“My two kids have been training here for about 2½ years, and they absolutely love it. Master Ali and Coach Andrew are extremely patient with kids and make every class fun, engaging, and interesting, which really keeps them motivated and excited to attend.
I have personally been attending the 12+ age class for over a year, and I still enjoy every session. For the adult classes, I’ve trained with Master Ali, Master Jerry, Coach Michael, and Coach Andrew — all excellent instructors. Each has their own specialty in martial arts, and they generously share not only their technical knowledge but also real life experience, which makes learning very meaningful and practical.
The instructors are passionate, supportive, and welcoming, especially for those who are new to martial arts. I genuinely love coming here and highly recommend this Hapkido program for both kids and adults. It’s a fantastic place to learn, grow, and stay motivated.“

“Bellevue Kendo is incredible. This is no "black belt mill" - you actually have to earn your advancement. It's run by Jeff Marsten (well known in Kendo) and his crew of senseis. If you want personal challenge and serious growth, or a place for your kids where they are driven and worked hard - this is it.What you get for the price is truly incredible - it must be subsidized by the city.“
