I found out about Langley from the City of Tacoma. I’m not sure if they are supposed to make referrals but I’m glad they did. When I explained my situation, Cody Langley listened carefully and suggested that I call another firm to detect the leak. Detection is one of Langley’s services but our situation seemed complicated. Having specialized equipment would be cost effective and give us a higher probability of success. As hoped, their recommendation nailed the location of the underground leak, which made Langley’s work even more efficient.

Langley came on site with a full crew, a well equipped truck and a backhoe. They had already arranged for utility location and were digging within 30 minutes. Our leak was in heavy roots between a tree, a house and a driveway and the team was able to surgically remove 3ft of soil and expose a cluster of water, irrigation and drainage pipes with no damage. The leak was a fractured 90 degree elbow spewing 300 gallons per hour. In minutes the team made a robust repair with brass fittings (no waiting for glue) and had my 14 units back on line. We also reworked an irrigation pipe to make that stronger and backfilled the hole. The site was left clean of debris and neatly raked, and the irrigation head was even reaimed correctly.
