Virtue Taekwondo
“I was already familiar with taekwondo, after taking classes in college. Over 3 years ago I decided to sign up my then 5 year old son at Virtue with hopes that it would allow him to learn skills that would transfer over to helping his behavior concerns at school and also be a healthy outlet for his endless energy. He accomplished these and earned a black belt in December. I’m not going to say the journey was easy, there were months where he got frustrated with what he perceived as a lack of progress compared to his peers. When I recently suggested a break from taekwondo to try other hobbies I was pleasantly surprised that he requested not to take a break. His younger sister begged us to start at Virtue this last year and she is now in Intermediate classes. I’m glad we found such a well loved family run business so close to our home!”
