We're super happy our child attends Kiai. It was recommended by another mother, and we are very thankful for that!
My child has really grown in many ways, from running around (and having difficulty listening) and being very uncoordinated, to now able to do their katas and follow directions much more. The classes have helped my child with more self-confidence, as they're on the smaller side (due to an autoimmune condition) and has been a huge target for school bullying and was physically assaulted a while ago. My child is now much, much more assertive in school, and has learned positive and direct ways to handle unwanted behavior directed towards them.

Tasshi David has been a wonderful instructor for the kids at Kiai. My 5-year-old son has learned so much under his guidance, including how to socialize confidently with older children. The environment is very supportive, and it’s heartwarming to see how the kids encourage and celebrate each other when receiving their stripes and belts.
