“My wife and I were looking at repairing cedar shake siding from **** so that we could put on a new coat of paint. Our quotes for paint were complicated by having leaded paint from decades ago underneath newer coats. ***** gave ** a quote for new board and ****** pre painted HardiePlank siding and painted flashing to cover the fascia that was equal to the quotes we had for repair and new paint. It included new vapor barrier and along with the expected life of the painted ******************* made much more financial sense than wasting money painting the aging shakes. We went with ****'s group and our house looks sharp! They finished the whole house in a handful of days and cleaned up after themselves and were very polite on site and easy to work with. I would not hesitate to recommend Pacific Builders and would use them again. As an added benefit for an old house, the vapor barrier helped tighten our envelope and along with some new windows has made temperature control of our upper story palpably more comfortable. There are a handful of good subcontractors to work with, and this group is one of them. They provided very good value and the work looks to be of high quality.“

“I got windows installed on my 1959 single w/daylight basement and the process was well executed for the most part but I'll get to that in a minute.First I saw an ad online about getting quotes for windows so I put my info in and got a call from Sears.Scheduling an appointment was easy and for only a few days later.When the reps arrived, the first thing they did was going through and measure all the windows and this is where I think they messed up.I have 13 windows in this house if you don't count the 2 in the garage, and I only wanted 11 of them replaced with the security grade weatherbeaters so when I tried to tell them which ones I didn't want, all they did was try to cross out stuff on the note pad instead of starting with a clean sheet cause I didn't realize it would matter at the time but when the windows showed up they brought me 12 and apparently was charged for 12 to.The installers were very knowledgeable and professional and they got the whole job done fast and were out of my hair by 3pm.I just had them put the extra window in the garage and now I'm in the process of finding out if I can get some money back for the extra window since not only did they not installed it but I didn't want it to begin with.However, I am planning on adding onto the house and would need a window in the addition so since they made the window custom for me and If I can't get all my money back for it then at least I can still use it but I'm also curious if they'll come back and install it for me in case I need to take advantage of the warranty.“

“We had the whole house resided. Actually they did a beautiful job. The guys installing it paid so much attention to detail. They trimmed things we didn't think to ask about, just did it! We were concerned at first with the communications with Chris. But in the end, things were just fine, because we realized that he doesn't micromanage the installers. They know what they are doing and do it well. They left our yard clean each day they finished. When job was complete, you'd swear nobody was even here. All trash was picked up the next day or two. Chris may seem a bit aloof, but honestly, he's a good guy. In fact we are having him come back to paint fascia/roof trim that can't be replaced with new trim because it is structural.
