This was our first time remodeling and working with contractors and they were incredibly patient and answered all of our questions to ensure we understood the plan.Other contractors we discussed our plan with dismissed many of our ideas right off the bat. Oleg came into our home and immediately started bouncing off ideas with me and offering suggestions based on his expertise. He was always respectful of our budget and never offered us anything that was going to be outside of that price range. He was always very transparent with us and never tried to upsell his products/services.Anna was also so delightful to work with. We picked out our supplies/designs in their showroom and she helped us pick colors/patterns that worked well together. My partner and I have incredibly busy and demanding jobs and she was always available by phone/text to chat about updates or send us additional options if we had a change of heart or wanted to see other offerings.Oleg's contractors were also some of the nicest people out there. They were incredibly respectful to our home and would always have a smile on their face if we ran into them. “Elon at Five Star Granite, a counter supplier and fabricator in Woodinville/Mukilteo, was so great to work with! After numerous setbacks with insurance and contractors walking away, Elon was still with us. He guided us thru the process of selecting our counters and the numerous times we changed our minds! He was patient with us visiting the yard multiple times, worrying about the variations in the slabs and comparing cabinet and paint colors. He took the time to show us new arrivals that “challenged” our previous choices to ensure we were happy with our selection. Elon, thank you so much for your patience in working with us. The installation crew at Five Star was very professional from the measuring process thru the installation of the Quartz countertops. They had great attention to details. “Artifex is the best construction team in Washington State. Artifex Construction planned to build a staircase in November 2020. Chad Melton took the construction test, approved, organized the date, choose the material and helped with its delivery on time. Chad and Michael supervised the project. Dave and Jimmie removed the old staircase with the ugly carpet, build a new waterproofed staircase, build the wooden closet steps, moved light fixtures, put drywalls, and paint the project, put the new kitchen shelf, and leave the house in immaculate condition. The engineering of the project was complicated, and Dave used his talent to overcome all of obstacles he has met. Jimmie is a talented carpenter and painter as well. Outstanding quality. Exemplary time management. Royal communication.“

“We had a fantastic experience working with Seth and Annie at Kindred Construction. We hired them to do a kitchen remodel for us that included taking down some walls to use an adjacent bedroom to make our kitchen bigger and more open, as well as rebuilding an exterior wall to add a wall of windows and a sliding glass door, kitchen cabinet installation, flooring, interior doors/trimming for pantry, and building a large deck. All of the work was extremely high quality and professional. We planned a 3 month trip to be out of our house during the construction, so we were actually communicating with Seth from Mexico while he was working at/on our house. We felt super comfortable even being thousands of miles away, as Seth communicated regularly, sent extremely detailed and lengthy updates on the work each week with photos, and called and texted us whenever he wanted to run something by us. Seth is very honest and upfront about costs, what he recommends, what he does not recommend, and what the timeline and process looks like. He was always looking out for the best solution and recommendation and ensuring cost and time efficiency. Meeting him and getting a quote was a VERY different experience from other contractors we checked with, and it felt more like working with a trusted friend than a contractor. Everything was super transparent and clear from the start. Seth wants to do a top notch job and he does not cut any corners to ensure everything is up to code (and beyond) and looks seamless. Everyone has raved about our new kitchen and windows and our deck, and we are beyond happy. We would 100% work with Kindred Construction again and will recommend them to anyone.“
