“We had a fantastic experience working with Seth and Annie at Kindred Construction. We hired them to do a kitchen remodel for us that included taking down some walls to use an adjacent bedroom to make our kitchen bigger and more open, as well as rebuilding an exterior wall to add a wall of windows and a sliding glass door, kitchen cabinet installation, flooring, interior doors/trimming for pantry, and building a large deck. All of the work was extremely high quality and professional. We planned a 3 month trip to be out of our house during the construction, so we were actually communicating with Seth from Mexico while he was working at/on our house. We felt super comfortable even being thousands of miles away, as Seth communicated regularly, sent extremely detailed and lengthy updates on the work each week with photos, and called and texted us whenever he wanted to run something by us. Seth is very honest and upfront about costs, what he recommends, what he does not recommend, and what the timeline and process looks like. He was always looking out for the best solution and recommendation and ensuring cost and time efficiency. Meeting him and getting a quote was a VERY different experience from other contractors we checked with, and it felt more like working with a trusted friend than a contractor. Everything was super transparent and clear from the start. Seth wants to do a top notch job and he does not cut any corners to ensure everything is up to code (and beyond) and looks seamless. Everyone has raved about our new kitchen and windows and our deck, and we are beyond happy. We would 100% work with Kindred Construction again and will recommend them to anyone.“

“Updated for 2025: Legacy One once again came through for us when our heat pump went out during the hot streak in July. They quickly diagnosed the issue, got us on the calendar ASAP, and provided great installation and service installing a new, must more efficient heat pump. The difference is amazing - we have been able to keep the house at a call 75 degrees on the 90 degree days with only the heat pump. Highly recommend again!

Legacy One Heating has been our go-to company for our home heating and cooling because they are reliable, offer helpful advice and provide cost-effective solutions.  We called them the first time when our water heater died unexpectedly. Karl, the owner, responded immediately, giving us options and ultimately saving us thousands of dollars on the replacement.  We used them again to install a new heat pump system.  We now are able to keep our house warm and cool for a fraction of the cost. We even leveraged their services to clean and update an existing fireplace.  They added a programmable thermostat and breathed new life into the old system so we didn't have to purchase a replacement. After numerous setbacks with insurance and contractors walking away, Elon was still with us. He guided us thru the process of selecting our counters and the numerous times we changed our minds! He was patient with us visiting the yard multiple times, worrying about the variations in the slabs and comparing cabinet and paint colors. He took the time to show us new arrivals that “challenged” our previous choices to ensure we were happy with our selection. Elon, thank you so much for your patience in working with us. The installation crew at Five Star was very professional from the measuring process thru the installation of the Quartz countertops. They had great attention to details. “In 2010 we had Star Roofing replace our roof and they did a great job for a reasonable price. They also replaced our 3 skylights with new opening ones for a great price.14 years later we noticed that the roof was sagging by one of the skylights. Thinking it was a water intrusion I called Star Roofing as they have a great warranty. After some discussion with Chris, he sent Nick out to check on it. Nick sent some pictures back to Chris and he noticed the sagging roof bays were above our brick chimney. He thought it might be caused by no lower roof vents due to the chimney being there. He sent Nick out to remove the roofing on the effected area and sure enough there was no water intrusion and indeed caused by the lack of venting from the homes original construction. There was some damage to the top of 2 roof joists so Nick went and got material to repair them. He had everything repaired and the section re-roofed in one day!! Even with the fact that it was not their fault, they didn't charge me a thing. I don't write many reviews, but when I get such great service I have to let others know.
