29 High St, Brattleboro“My fiance and I booked based on other 5 star reviews and were still impressed. We've both gotten many massages in our lifetimes, but the hot stone couples massage we got was one of the best and the price was great. Very friendly service from Suzanne and Tara. We'll be back for sure!“

464 Putney Rd, Brattleboro“I really love this studio. The space is big and beautiful, with a cozy feeling and good vibes. Everyone is welcoming and non-judgmental, even if you haven't moved your body in years and are miles away from touching your toes. The location couldn't be more convenient, and there's lots of free parking (plus the view from the parking lot is stunning).I'm especially fond of Buti yoga with Tessa -- a fun, high-energy, cardio-heavy class with great music. I've also been getting massages from Kira, who is incredibly talented, communicative, and lovely. Massage prices are shockingly reasonable, AND you can book online! (Boy do I wish more places in Brattleboro let you book online.)Five stars and then some. If you've been putting off moving your body or treating it to a massage, go here now—you deserve it!“

20 Technology Dr, Brattleboro“Roughly 8 years ago I was looking for an orthopedic doctor. I was in so much pain; I couldn’t turn my head or lift my arm above my shoulder. I thought for sure I tore something and was headed for surgery, until I was recommended to Melissa at Forest Heaven’s. After my first massage, I immediately made another appointment for the following month, and continued to do so until all my pain was relieved. I naively thought massages were solely for pampering, but quickly found their true health benefit. Since then, I joke my massage is my favorite time of the month! Even when money was tight, I’d count pennies to be sure I could fit my massage in my budget. Melissa is fantastic at relieving any knots or sore muscles you have at a reasonable price. Additionally, she’s also a pleasant person and makes sure you’re comfortable. I’ve highly recommended Melissa to many coworkers in the healthcare field over the years and have given gift certificates to family members. It’s been a year since I’ve relocated for work, but I gladly continue to make the special 45 minute trip for my massage. Thank you, Melissa!“

229 Western Ave, Brattleboro“I’ve had the pleasure of receiving massages from Michele, and I will definitely continue going any time I'm in town. One of the things that sets Michele apart is how easy it is to schedule with her. Her website is incredibly user-friendly, allowing me to quickly find times that fit into my busy schedule.
When you step into Michele's space, you’re immediately greeted by a quiet, serene environment that makes it so easy to unwind. But the true magic happens once Michele starts working. She has an uncanny ability to find knots and areas of tension that I didn’t even realize were causing problems. The best part? She works them out without any of the discomfort typically associated with deep tissue massage.
I’ve joked with her that it feels like she’s doing a muscle transplant from my calf through my thigh because of how incredibly targeted her technique is. But honestly, it’s impressive how much better I feel after each session. Michele’s expertise and attention to detail are truly second to none.
If you’re looking for a massage therapist who combines intuitive skill with amazing experience, Michele is the one to see!“
“Great experience with a professional and relaxing atmosphere. I love Virginia’s focus on her client’s needs; after my massage I felt amazing!“

167 Main St #410, Brattleboro“I’ve spent the last decade doing ‘the work’ whatever exactly that means… counseling, therapy, journaling, breakthroughs, aha moments, questioning reality, frustrations… all of it. And while that work absolutely changed my life in a profound way, I hit a wall about five years ago. A frustrating one. Because no matter how much I processed or understood, my body still held it. The body really does keep the score. Even after understanding my brain, my nervous system, I still believed I could out-think it. I figured if I just did enough mindset work, I could ‘fix it’.
Oh sweet girl… if only. This is why growth is not linear. It is not perfect. It is like an onion. Oh me oh my- the layers!
This past September, I was taking meds multiple times a week for headaches, invested in a mouth guard thinking maybe I was grinding my teeth, questioning all that could be ‘wrong’ or fixable and still—my hips were locked, my jaw ached, my temples throbbed, and my neck felt like it was fused.
That’s when I found Melissa. And the rest is history. ?
We’ve been working together consistently since then - weekly to start, then bi-weekly, and she’s truly been one of the greatest gifts in my life this past year. Her ability to read what my body needs—especially when I don’t have the words—is unreal.
It’s hard to explain how deeply grateful I am for the safe space she creates, the insight she offers, and the way she helps me unlock what I didn’t even realize I was holding.
Since working with her, I’ve gone from taking meds for tension headaches multiple times a week sometimes daily - my husband teasing with concern that I was addicted to extra strength tylenol. Now I might get a headache maybe once a month. And when I do, it’s mostly cycle-related, not constant pressure and pain and ache. I was blaming blue light and screens, and there was wayyy more going on there than I realized. Deep rooted tension and healing.
This work with Melissa is trickling into every part of my life, all arenas. And while she always takes the time to talk with me - before and after my session, conversation I look so forward to every visit as she always holds space for the mental side… it’s the bodywork that was the next level I needed.
As much as we want to “think” our way through what the body remembers… sometimes one modality isn’t enough.
You are worthy of exploring what feels aligned for you. Whether that’s breathwork, somatic work, massage therapy, or something else entirely—try. Get curious.
There is no one like Melissa - and I've had my fair share of massages prior to finding her. I'm deeply grateful I found her when I did - all just because a simple google search by location.
Your body has been holding a lot.
It’s time to help it let go.
I hope you'll give yourself permission to reach out to Melissa.
It is for certain one of the best decisions I've ever made.“

54 Harris Pl Suite 103, Brattleboro“I have been receiving massage and body work from Emily consistently for almost a year. Her space is clean and simple in design, and her work is deep and precise. She will apply lots of pressure as well as work gently - both are equally, very nourishing. She seems to have developed a sixth sense of listening to bodies.Emily is also wise, understanding and has a really great sense of humor! She’s open and easy to talk to about what may be causing my tension/pain, has pointed me in the direction of great books and podcasts and has shared helpful things I can do at home to rest.“

She listens with her hands, discovering blockages, then freeing them to restore the flow of energy. And massage integrated along the way! She's simply the best!“

“Terye did an excellent job helping to work some muscle stiffness out of my back! As someone who sits at a desk most days, it was refreshing to feel the tension in my neck/upper back disappear. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Brattleboro.“
