Terye did an excellent job helping to work some muscle stiffness out of my back! As someone who sits at a desk most days, it was refreshing to feel the tension in my neck/upper back disappear. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Brattleboro.

I went to Terye for help with chronic pain (nerve and muscular) caused by treatment for breast cancer (surgeries & radiation). Terye's intelligence, experience, and thoughtfulness means that I now live with much less pain and more mobility. She's done work on my shoulders, chest, and neck -- I can swallow without choking, hug my kids without pain, and lift weights again! She's a real gem; I feel so lucky to be her client.

I've been helped and relieved in a big way more and more over the last several years and always benefit from Terye's healing touch. I was impressed from the start that Terye's knowledge and background fit so well with local medical practitioners and some of their treatment plans. I would recommend CHTM to anybody who might experience chronic pain!

Terye Wohnus is a board certified massage therapist & has been practicing therapeutic massage in Brattleboro since she opened Centered Healing in '05 after graduating from the Stillpoint Program at Greenfield Community College with honors. In addition to seeing clients in her own practice, she began seeing patients at VT Chiropactic Orthopedics for Dr. Marcy Jones from '06 until he retired in '09. She provides pain management & stress reduction with massage techniques that include myofascial release, deep tissue, neuromuscular therapy & Swedish massage. Though VT doesn't require massage therapists to be licensed or certified, Terye chooses to be board certified to assure her clients of her commitment to excellence & professionalism.
