Poor service with making copies. instructions on machine was clear but after asking questions no one told me the feeder didn't work. Told me to use a different machine. I got feed up and left.

My go-to OfficeMax. Clearly organized, so I'm not searching for hours. Friendly staff. Love that I can: order online for pickup, stop by and quickly peruse around the store for a hot sec to check out the latest markdowns (BTW, be sure to do this - snagged a 800+ building brick set compatible with LEGOs for a bit over $6. Normally, $26.99. #steal), check out at the register and then grab my bagged online order on my way out. Did I mention all this was accomplished in 15 minutes (minus drive time, of course). I dig it. By far, my most preferred local office supply store. Four stars for you and a kudos.

I have always been fascinated by office supplies and I do love the TV Sitcom "The Office". So only natural that I find it fun to hang out in an office supply stores. However if your not a customer of the chain you may be surprised to learn they have much more than pencils and pens and I do love a great writing utensil. The location is in Landstown Commons on the North side by Walgreens close to the entrance. You will never have to worry about parking as there is an abundance. I found the lot and walk up clear of debris. Upon walking in no initial greeting, but the checkout area is not positioned to lend itself to see customers walking in. No staff was up front. The store presented well and was attractive in a sexy office supply type of way. Major Office Max badging was hung from the ceiling in the rear on a circular type of sign. Everything was clean. My objective was to pick up a three hole punch after mine when kaput. I had an older model off brand and was anxious to see what was offered. To my surprise they offered over a half dozen types from 5 sheets to 50. Both manual and electric with prices ranging from $20+ to $50+. The main brand offered was Swingline which is the best! I picked up a midline to punch 20. I perused the store to kill some time and as I mentioned before I love office supplies anyway. The furniture is in the rear and they have a really good supply of chairs that range from basic to high end. The print shop is up front. As I continued my walk around I was reminded the depth of inventory that Office Max carries. From candy, to cleaning supplies to a few OTC pharmacy needs like Tylenol. Up front at checkout they even have gift cards. I was approached by two staff on the floor at different times. An older lady was particularly friendly and we made small talk. This elevated my review one full star. I see the most recent reviews are very positive. When you see and hear customer service you know it and thank you! My checkout was good and my rewards card applied. The young lady clerk was ok, professional and that's all good. It's always nice for me to hear "did you find everything" which I did not. My credit card transaction was processed without a hitch. I did notice the front of the counter laminate was damaged with a large crack. This store is a solid option for office supply loving customers. I suspect it's less known than Town Center which has a great flow. On my visit it was not busy mid day. I suspect it's because they do not offer road frontage as the store is not new. If your looking for an easy in and out office supply run hit them up.
