The latest surgery was a VERY long but successful surgery to repair my left clavicle after a tragic road biking accident. The pictures show how well I have recovered and my continued ability to swim competitively in US Masters Swimming at the Nationals level a year after my surgery!
The first surgery was over 25 years ago when my first surgeon did not identify a compression fraction in my right humeral head which caused frozen shoulder after their surgery. Dr. Chandra stepped in and went to bat with my insurance company, after his successful surgery, to commit them to 3 days in the hospital after surgery to have daily PT and careful stretching of my right shoulder during healing which eventually lead to complete healing and function!
