They treat you like a person from start to finish. They explain everything and allow you to ask questions and then answer those questions. They introduce themselves. My nurse, Angi was great, especially noting how they don't make anything in the hospital to fit tall people (I'm 6'5"). Unfortunately I can't remember everyone's name, but the discharge nurse was equally amazing. She got the IV tape off without pain, which is usually the most painful part of a hospital visit. Everyone in the operating room was professional, for the brief time I was conscious, but I especially remember the Scottish woman and Carl. I only vaguely remember Dr. Malik, but my wife said he was amusing and entertaining as well as informational. The whole process was as painless as it could be and I was kept informed every step of the way. Most importantly, it went right on schedule. From check in to discharge was almost exactly 150 minutes.
Awesome service and very friendly. He had my car looking crisp. I had a snafu with Zelle when trying to send him a tip. $20 tip sent 3 times due to a Zelle server error, so he ended up receiving $60. Explained it to him and he sent $40 back. Could’ve ran away with the loot but he was a man of his word. I would definitely recommend him for all your car detailing needs.Services: Polishing

Fantastic experience. My granddaughter went in for damaged hair from soccer and home treatments and she walked out with her 24 inch blond hair transformed with world class highlights and a molecular hair treatment. I booked two days later and am thrilled with the results. It is a gorgeous facility with superb service.

I've been going to Erin at Pin Ups for quite a while - she's not only a fantastic stylist but also the owner, and it really shows in the care she puts into every appointment. At my visits, she takes the time to listen to my concerns and makes sure i feel completely comfortable. Erin is thoughtful, patient, and truly passionate about what she does. My last visit i wanted to change my style and when she finished, I was so happy with how it turned out-and Erin was just as excited about the results as i was! After moving from Virginia Beach to Suffolk I asked Arlette who cut my hair at the Va Beach Great Clips for Many-Many Years if she could recommend someone closer to Suffolk. She immediately said “Margaret” at the Suffolk Great Clips. Literally i have had the same two people cut my hair for well over 30 years and i dont take change well. Athena is the GOAT! I've had horrible experiences at other very high priced salons in this area, 3x the cost, absolutely butchered my hair color and cuts. I saw Athena today and she took the time to listen to what I wanted, what my concerns are, and even looked at pictures of my last botched salon experience. I trusted her recommendations on color/treatment and am so glad I did! My hair hasn't looked or felt this good in years! Go see her you won't regret it!

I'm visiting my cousin who lives here in Suffolk. I had mentioned that I wanted to go to the Barber and get my hair cut. She recommended this place to me saying that it was the best in town. I noticed there was a television with Hogan's Heroes playing. I remember watching that and also Andy Griffith show when Andy got his haircut from Fred. Al, and his Barbershop gives me the same feeling as the barbershop on Andy Griffith show. It's very relaxing, comfortable, welcoming and reasonably priced. I highly recommend if your ever in Suffolk to stop by. If Al and his Barbershop are not on the list of things to do while in town, they should be.In my humble opinion Al is an artist.

Awesome place! Specializes in the latest cuts and grooming services. The shop is always clean and it's a welcoming environment. Barber is very skilled and professional. I've seen him cut many different grades of hair with results that I'm thoroughly impressed with. I'm amazing at how effective scheduling has been since the shift. Appointments are prompt and pretty much on time, everytime! I recommend this barbershop to everyone seeking a fresh cut. The barber even does eyebrows for the ladies. I have yet to have a negative experience at Sundays. All the staff is so accommodating and friendly. I went in not knowing if I wanted a membership and asked so many questions about the services and products. Every questions was met with an answer and a genuine smile. By the end of the night, I was convinced I wanted a membership. Everything is quick and easy and I feel like the staff is so helpful and kind. Highly recommend

My nail tech is on vacation and after walking around for days with broke nails, I could not hold out another day let alone another week waiting for him to return. So about 3am 4am on a Friday morning, I was searching high and low for reputable nail techs in the area. I have visited one or two nearby, but I was not impressed enough to return again for a fill in or a repair. Nevertheless, I came across this spot on Google. I usually use my handy dandy Yelp app, but sometimes, you may miss out... like this place was not up there... but she should be now! I added this business after my appt. on Saturday. I made my appointment on Friday after reaching out to the nail tech via text. She informed me of her booking website. The website was easy to use and I booked my appt. for the next day without worry. Puscat has an IG and Facebook page. I was able to check out her work and I was super hyped to try her. I arrived for my appt. on Saturday and she was on point. The shop is located inside of a building, where others can rent out spaces. It was not hard to find at all. This was my first time, but I felt super comfy as if I was a regular. If you are into nails and love pizazz, I highly recommend this shop. I am super excited to return. It's clean inside, the vibe is awesome and it's spacious. Do not forget your mask. Parking... I only saw street parking. I was able to snag a space directly across the street from the building. As you can see my nails in the pic, my nails were all freehand by the tech. I really did not have an idea of what I wanted, but I gave her some direction and she brought it home from there :) Super satisfied! Have fun and enjoy life :)

He required a lot of patience during the service, and thankfully, our nail technician, Sky, was exceptional and handled everything with care. I’m grateful for the positive experience we had here. The front desk associate was also helpful and informative, both over the phone and in person.

Update: They called me wanting to take care of the crown the day of posting this review. They were able to fit me in next day to get broken crown taken off, cleaned up, and a new temp. I just received my new crown today, 09/09, with no difficulties. I’m pleased with them taking care of me, I just wish I didn’t have to post a google review for help, as that’s when the office manager was notified.
Please don’t go here. I left here after getting my crown done less than a year ago. When I went in for deliverance of the crown they said I owed an additional $130 for the buildup. I asked what do you mean, as I held off on it because we weren’t sure and they didn’t tell me they actually did a buildup, and I only remember the cleaning out. The receptionist at the counter rather argue with me and ask to reschedule, then to confirm or ask the dentist. I also couldn’t reschedule because I was short on leave for just having to put my dog down a couple days prior, on top of other family obligations. I asked if I could be seen and just send the bill in the mail. She said yes, but it’ll go to collections if not paid in 30 days. I said just send it.
I got to the back, and explained everything to the dental hygienist and she offered to go ask the dentist that did the work. She came back stating that there was no buildup and don’t worry about paying the $130. The only thing is they already billed my insurance as such. No verification was done to confirm that the work they’re billing for was actually done. I also asked if the crown was covered if anything were to happen, and the dentist stated yes.
Now forward to 11 months later, the back/medial corner of my crown broke off while eating a French fry on my drive back to Georgia. I waited til Monday morning to call just to be told that I would now need supplemental insurance with my BCBS. Catch is I changed all of my dental and medical insurance after going to breeze because how they billed I feel ruined my experience with my insurance company, especially when I had to stop seeing patients for a couple of hours trying to fix the billing between Breeze and GEHA.
Needless to say now I’m going to have to fix my crown with zero help from them, as they actually don't cover it. They would want X-rays again, exam, and I would pay the replacement and maybe get my money back from my insurance. This unfortunately is also the first time that I have posted such a negative review, as I tend to just roll it off and not find it to be worth it. This unfortunately is just not good business and would recommend to go somewhere else.
Let's just say I will be back I love the staff and the place was so clean the was some mixed up information about my insurance no matter what they will see me soon ❤️

We had a great first experience at Le Paw Royale! My wife and I moved to Suffolk about a year ago from the Hampton/Newport News area. Our pups had been going to a groomer in Newport News since they were little, so we were nervous about trying somewhere new, but the drive was getting old.
We heard about Le Paw Royale from our vet and decided to give them a shot. They were awesome! Kim and Sarah made the whole process super easy. The place felt more like a spa—very clean, organized, and welcoming.
I especially liked the drop-off window, which gave us some flexibility instead of a set drop-off time. It made our morning way less rushed.
Most importantly, the cuts were amazing! We have a mini Aussiedoodle and a mini Goldendoodle, and they looked fantastic. We’ll definitely be back!
