“Diagnosed with cervical spondylosis with radiculopathy more than a year ago, I needed to find a physical therapy clinic experienced and equipped to handle my type of neck pain. Fortunately, I found Hilltop Physical Therapy in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

My first appointment with Hilltop consisted of a very thorough examination complete with measurements to establish a baseline for my treatment. This examination was conducted by Ms. Carlene Flynn. Having had examinations at previous physical therapy locations in the past, none even came close to the extent and thoroughness as Hilltop.

Dr. Steven Kang and Ms. Flynn serve as my physical therapists. Over a period of weeks, they both demonstrated that they not only are knowledgeable and experienced in their field, but they both are very personable as well. During each of my twice a week physical therapy sessions, they expertly led me through a series of exercises designed to improve my posture, increase my strength and extend my range of motion. They guided these exercises while targeting areas of my neck, shoulders, chest and back aimed at reducing my arthritis and referred nerve pain. They also worked and massaged my neck and shoulder muscles to relieve tightness.

After each session, I leave increasingly more impressed with their experience and the skills they demonstrate. In just six weeks, I have experienced significant and measurable improvement. I have a ways to go yet, but I am confident in the abilities of my physical therapy team. Most important, I can honestly say that my physical therapy is working. I feel better and stronger with less pain leading the way to a better quality of life.

This was my first time ever getting a massage and my first time coming here, and I honestly cannot recommend Anna enough. I originally booked because I had been going through a lot physically and emotionally. My body was aching, I was having leg cramping, not sleeping well at night, and just felt exhausted and tense overall.

From the moment I explained everything to Anna, she was incredibly attentive, compassionate, and really listened to what my body needed. She made me feel so comfortable, relaxed, and cared for throughout the entire experience. As someone who had never had a massage before, I was nervous, but she made the whole process feel safe and calming.

And let me just say… WOW. I genuinely did not want it to end! She literally massaged me from head to toe. It felt like multiple treatments all in one session lymphatic massage, face massage, leg massage, hand massage, toe massage, scalp/head massage… EVERYTHING. She truly takes her time and pays attention to every detail without making you feel rushed.

After my session, I felt AMAZING. I felt relieved, lighter, refreshed, and honestly like a brand-new person. I had so much energy afterward that I felt like I could run a marathon! It was worth every single minute.
