She is my most favorite artist I've ever worked with, not to mention THE most talented. From start to finish, the consultation, the pricing, the tattoo process.. all of it was done professionally, promptly and perfectly executed. I already have my next tattoo planned with Jen. All of the artist at Loose Screw are well rounded, talented and can bring your vision to life upon your skin! But Jen, sets the standards high! I would honestly pay $500 an hour for her if I had to. The shop itself is so cool and inviting. Each artist has they're own station persolized to them and the music selection has always been a hit. Jay offered to change it if I wanted something else but I was vibing with every playlist or song that was put on.

From start to finish (keep in mind I’m a walk in with no appointment) everyone treated me with kindness. “Decided to get my first tattoo in about 5 years, and my first in a decade in America. I first went to a different artist in the city and had a very strange experience - he seemed completely uninterested in actually talking about the tattoo design and when he sent me his draft the day before he effectively ignored basically all of the details of the tattoo I was asking for. After trying to clarify the the details it was pretty clear that he just wasn't engaged and we decided to move on.

I was pretty concerned thinking that this was just how getting a tattoo was going to work nowadays, but then I found Joe Hall and had a completely different experience. He helped me design and conceptualize the tattoo and created it in his own style, was totally receptive to making small changes created a beautiful work of art. The tattoo looks amazing and healed just as expected.

“I had my lobe and septum piercings done by Ashley and Syd respectively, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. They were both really knowledgeable and kind, and made my first piercing experience painless (or as painless as it can be, I guess). I would recommend them both any day if you’re interested in getting a piercing, especially your first. I also lost half my jewelry on my lobe piercing about a month and a half after getting it done, and was able to get it replaced free of charge. Price also can’t be beat for the level of expertise you’re getting. Love love love lucky 13 and their piercers!!“
